How to remove OST permanently?
All, I''ve added a new 2.2 TB OST to my cluster easily enough, but this new disk array is meant to replace several smaller OSTs that I used to have of which were only 120 GB, 500 GB, and 700 GB. Adding an OST is easy, but how do I REMOVE the small OSTs that I no longer want to be part of my cluster? Is there a command to tell luster to move all the file stripes off one of the nodes?

Need a SIP trunk provider for US - Dallas/TX
All, I'm in Dallas, TX, US and am looking for inbound-only DID service with 10+ channels on a SIP trunk. Is anyone on this list doing something similar and have any recommendations for a provider? Of course I'll be routing either SIP/IAX to an asterisk server that will be hosted in a Dallas colocation facility. I found VoxBone.com but they only want to deal with customers that can

Usage Case: just not getting the performance I was hoping for
All, For our project, we bought 8 new Supermicro servers. Each server is a quad-core Intel cpu with 2U chassis supporting 8 x 7200 RPM Sata drives. To start out, we only populated 2 x 2TB enterprise drives in each server and added all 8 peers with their total of 16 drives as bricks to our gluster pool as distributed replicated (2). The replica worked as follows: 1.1 -> 2.1 1.2

This isn't asterisk related but I figure several developers on this list have built apps for Twitter (or other 3rd party API's). Just found out a few hours ago I'm being sued by Twitter Feel free to tweet this link ( www.MyTwitterButler.com/I'm_Being_Sued <http://www.mytwitterbutler.com/I'm_Being_Sued> ) or forward on the link to any journalists you know.

Cannot open port 631 for Cups printer sharing
I have been trying to set up printer sharing on the LAN.All machines are CentOS 5.2 fully updated. The problem server is a fresh build. The box it is replacing worked fine for many months. The problem appears to be a closed port 631 on the new box. iptables and ip6tables are stopped as shown by the output below. To confirm I was using nmap correctly I ran it against the old server first which

ClamAV reports a trojan
This morning I discovered this in my clamav report from one of our imap servers: /usr/share/nmap/scripts/irc-unrealircd-backdoor.nse: Unix.Trojan.MSShellcode-21 FOUND I have looked at this script and it appears to be part of the nmap distribution. It actually tests for irc backdoors. IRC is not used here and its ports are blocked by default both at the gateway and on all internal hosts.

Network freezes - possibly yum?
Hi. I have a CentOS 4.2 server running. I've just experience that it stops responding (http, ssh) when doing yum update pam xorg-x11 gnupg This has happened two times in a row, so I'm curious if anyone has experienced anything like this? Could it be yum or should I look for the explanation elsewhere? [root at machine ~]# yum update pam xorg-x11 gnupg Setting up Update Process Setting
