Would anyone happen to have some examples of polycom configs, specifically the 650 with sidecar for blf. I have the asterisk side all configured since I've set up blf with other types of phones, but I'm missing the polycom side. I've put together a <mac>-directory.xml, and the sidecar now lists numbers as speed dials but does not subscribe to blf.

I have meetme working with BLF on polycom phones however when meetme is not actually being used by anyone the 'status' of meetme becomes "idle". Which the Polycom phone sees and produces a clock symbol and FLASHING red LED. We are doing a medium sized office in NYC with 80 phones. The customer originally requested Polycom 601 phones. The COO also authorized us to purchase 2 Grandstream GXP2000 phones for the mail room. We find these phones much easier to configure and work with asterisk . They support BLF & intercom right out of the box. They can also be centrally managed and provisioned. They also sound great

I know with the Linksys phones you can create a hotline by using the dial string of (S0<:number>). I have been trying to do this with a PolyCom phone but I have not been very successful. Does anyone know where I can get replacement handsets for the Polycom SoundPoint IP phones? Or does anyone have any they want to sell? From the looks of it you have to buy a whole new phone to get a new handset. My vendor, TriaTechCOA, told me I had to buy a whole new phone to get a handset, which is pretty ridiculous.
