Similar option as promiscredir to use in transfer (REFER)
I made a similar question in a previous thread, but there was no answer, so I think I was not very clear making the question. What I need is some configuration that works like "promiscredir=yes" in sip.conf that enables me to do the same thing with transfer (REFER), letting me transfer a sip call to a non local sip address. Thanks in advance, Thiago Abra sua conta no Yahoo!

problems in REFER request to a different machine
Hi everyone, Sorry if I'm repeating the e-mail, but I'm having problems with the list. I'm currently trying to enable call transfer to different domains in asterisk box (Asterisk 1.2.13 running on Debian etch). I have a configuration that requires me to transfer call to separate domains like ext at 10.10.10.10:5050. My calls come from a R2 channels in a board installed in the machine.

Dahdi Init script for Suse?
Anyone by chance got an Init script for /etc/init.d/dahdi on a SLES 10 box that'll work right? The one included by default only deals with debian and redhat, and the changes between the old zaptel script I have that works are far too invasive. Notably in the use of this "action" command that's probably redhat specific. There's practically zilch on google on the matter. I

cli commands missing
I just loaded a new asterisk install (1.4.19) and found that the sip, iax, and extentions commands are missing from the cli and are not listed in help either? Any idea what could have happened or where these commands may have gone? Thanks, Eric -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

Asterisk 1.4.20.1 with bad gsm file playback
Hi All, I'm stumped on this and I looking for some clues to fix this. This is a new install of Slackware 12.1 onto an IBM x330 Server. Asterisk 1.4.20.1 plays the wav files and the Cepstral_Allison Swift just fine, but when I play the gsm files the audio quite choppy. And, the files produced from the MixMonitor don't even record any audio other than noise. I have a hard drive from

Debian & eth0 vs. peth0
It seems that with their specific Xen packages, Debian likes to go against the norm, and rather than calling the Xen bridging device something sensible like "xenbr0", they rename the main physical ethernet device "eth0" to "peth0" and create "eth0" as the Xen bridge (as far as I can tell, anyways). Anyone know where exactly they do this so I can reverse it?

What does it take to get ztdummy to work correctly? I have a new laptop HP HDX9200. I am running asterisk 1.4.19 and zaptel 1.4.9.2 Zaptel compiles fine. asterisk compiles fine. ztdummy loads asterisk runs. Problem is playback() does not work. So then I stop zaptel, asterisk runs and playback() now works. However, meetme()'s dont work. I need ztdummy I'm pretty sure for that. I am

Any reason to *not* use AEL? (Also, MixMonitor q)
I am building a new Asterisk server here at the office, and I'm wondering if there are any downsides to creating my dialplan with AEL. It seems more intuitive (to me), but I'm not sure if there are any pitfalls I need to be aware of first. We use this for internal extensions, 8 pots lines, and our answering service which gets about 500 incoming calls a day down our T1. Also, one more

AEX410P drops DTMF digits
Hello again list, I'm running a 1.4.42 install on SUSE with an AEX410P card. Whenever I enter DTMF very quickly or very slowly, app_read des on me. Has anyone experienced similar joy
