Microsoft CRM 4.0 integration with asterisk
Hello !
I am wondering if anyone has experiences with the integration of
Asterisk 1.4.19 into Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 ?
Or alternatively integration with Microsoft Office Communications
server (however trying to avoid this, if it isn't really necessary for
the integration).
I would be glad to receive any links or manuals on this topic, which
helped you to integrate it.
Kind regards,

Grandstream Busy Light Fields
Hello !
I am having troubles setting up Busy Light Fields (BLF) in asterisk 1.4.18
The things work up to 80%, I can transfer the call by BLF button and I can
see the green (free) status and red (busy) status.
What I cannot do is to accept the call when someone rings a remote
extension. The BLF button starts to blink in red telling me that the call is
ringing on remote extenson, but if I press it,

kerberos nfs4's principals and root access
You are right !
But it's possible to create a root kerberos principal like here :
http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E19253-01/816-4557/fgohx/
But I can't get this work with a samba kerberos realm....

Workaround for bind9 reload bug : samba_dlz Ignoring duplicate zone
Hi samba team !
I'm face with a new problem on a new Samba PDC install (Debian 9).
I don't know why, but systemd run multiples "rndc reconfig" commands
during the init script. So the bind9 log file show :
-> A successful start
-> A failed reconfig (samba_dlz Ignoring duplicate zone)
at each boot/reboot.
So I need to restart bind9 each time manually. I created a wrapper

kerberos nfs4's principals and root access
Hello samba team !
I have some NFS4 exports managed by a Samba's Kerberos realm. All the
standard user accesses work fine.
I try now to setup an NFS4 root access to administer the share from
another server (the two host are DC, one PDC and one SDC). But I have
trouble understanding the kerberos/principals layer.

ldbmodify in multi-DCs environment.
Hello Samba Team !
Just a little question. Is ldbmodify safe in a multi-DCs environment
or there is something I forgot ? Can I launch the "ldbmodify" command
on any DC to edit my AD database ?
Note :
All my DCs are Samba 4.5.12. There is no Wndows DCs.
Thanks !
Baptiste.

Persistent Winbind gid cache
Hello Samba team !
I'm network administrator in a french high school where I store my
user/group ID using rfc2307. My client stations use Winbind to query
rfc2307 attributes.
Each new years, as all my students move to another class, almost all
my user's gid are updated in AD.
This gid is very important in my network because pam_mount mount only
the share corresponding the to user's

winbind on DC : how use gidNumber instead of primaryGroupID as user's primary group
Hi Samba Team !
My Samba AD DC server run an NFSv4 server so I need correct RFC2307 id
mapping between the server and the clients.
On the client side it's very easy with the new smb.conf options :
idmap config SAMDOM:unix_nss_info = yes
idmap config SAMDOM:unix_primary_group = yes
But on the server side winbind use the gidNumber of the group
corresponding to the user's primaryGroupID.

kerberos nfs4's principals and root access
Hai Baptiste,
I re-checked my setup and your totaly correct.
I can not enter the nfsV4 mounted directory as root.
What i've added in idmap.conf
Is this :
Domain = your_DNS_domain.tld
[Translation]
Method = nsswitch
And i found this link.
http://serverfault.com/questions/526762/root-access-to-kerberized-nfsv4-host-on-ubuntu
im testing this now.

Hai Batiste,
Ok, thanks for these, i'll test that also.
And the "why" is a bit more explained here.
http://www.citi.umich.edu/projects/nfsv4/crossrealm/libnfsidmap_config.html
and per example,
http://www.citi.umich.edu/projects/nfsv4/crossrealm/ldap_server_setup.html
First my work here, but this is a good one which i also need to adjust in my scripts, so thank you for asking

Samba suddenly restart and replication does not works anymore
Hello Samba team !
On my network I have three Samba-4.1.17 domain controllers (Debian Jessie) :
-> One PDC : pdc01
-> Two "slave" DC : sdc02, sdc03
I don't know why, but sometimes Samba receive the SIGTERM signal and
restart even if I remove it from the logrotate configuration. On
"pdc01" I see :

Avoiding uid conflicts between rfc2307 user/groups and computers
Hi Samba team !
I have some conflicts between uid stored in the rfc2307 attributes and
some local uid from idmap.ldb
My network :
------------------
I have three samba AD DC with sysvol replication. Sadly, as I don't
have some other machines, the three DC also share my user's Home and
Profile directories. So I need at least :
-> Builtin User/Group ID mapping between DCs (easy)
->
