Can anyone tell me if Samba automatically does the same without having to define these in SMB.CONF? the problem of buying and selling
I own a lot to the folks on r-help list, especially arun who answered every of my question and was never wrong. I am disinclined to once again ask this question, since it is more arithmatic than technical. But, having worked 2 days on it, I realized my brain is just not juicy enough.... Here is the problem. Trust not for freedom to the Franks--- They have a king who buys and sells. -

graceful session expiry?
According to the Rails book, the session object has an attribute called :session_expires, but they don''t encourage its use. Currently I handle session expiry by using a cron job to delete session files that have not been modified in the last X minutes (it is a design/security requirement for this project that sessions expire after a finite period of inactivity). However, this is a

memcached vs regex fragment expiry
Hi, I thought i''d give memcached a try. Installed it all, made the change in environment.rb and it all seems ok. I can telnet to memcached process and manually retrieve the data being cached. However, when I try to expire a fragment using a regex, eg: expire_fragment(%r{forums/recent/.*}) it throws an error: undefined method `delete_if'' for #<MemCache:0x2289968>

I have now started adding WinXP clients, which have produced an issue regarding password expiry. password expiry/changing
hi, does openssh have support for letting the user change his expired password? we are using password aging on solaris 6. our current build of openssh 2.5.2p2 asks for the password 3 times, then disconnects the user without allowing him to log in or change it. if not, are there any workarounds (other than root resetting the user's password manually). thanks, -jon -- Jon Nathan jon at
