Hi, we are looking to roll out PBX IN A Flash at our office. The first group will be using Soft Phones (X-Lite appears to be the best and works in Windows, Apple & Linux). There are many types of USB Headsets to choose from and a fairly broad price range. Is there any USB headsets people would recommend? I'm specifically interested in acceptable audio (speaker and microphone) quality

I have a system that is using Intel HDA as its output, and a Plantronics USB headset as the microphone input. I would like to have my wine configuration emulate this setup, I currently have been unable to confirm that it isnt... Unfortunately, X-Lite and Zoiper, even though they provide Linux versions (w00t!) have only x86 versions for download. I tried looking into it further and found some blog and mailing list posts from 2009 but I can't find any mentions of anything other than skype using the codec. Hello I need to hook up someone's remote PC onto our Asterisk server over the Net. There are firewalls on each side, so I figured it's time to give IAX a try, and see if it's less of a pain to use than SIP. And since IAX hardphones are pretty are, I guess I'll go softphone.
