dundi lookup
Pardon my ignorance but I understand that DUNDi
lookups (*CLI> dundi lookup xxx at yyy) reveal if a given
extension is "served" by some host, ie. if it's
present in its dialplan. It does not say if it's
registered or not.
Is this correct?

0-client_t: null client [Invalid argument] & high CPU usage (Gluster 3.12)
Howdy,
I'm setting up several gluster 3.12 clusters running on CentOS 7 and have having issues with glusterd.log and glustershd.log both being filled with errors relating to null client errors and client-callback functions.
They seem to be related to high CPU usage across the nodes although I don't have a way of confirming that (suggestions welcomed!).

asterisk sip peer/user matching methodsforauthentication backwards?
I have considered opening a bug report on this, but wanted to get some
feedback and make sure I am not missing something in the way of a simple
work around. What is the scenario in which this impacts your
implementation?
Ours is the desire to use the same realtime SIP database for many
asterisk servers, and route the call based on a "home server" value in
the realtime database. The

Sam,
You might want to give glusterfs-3.12.1 a try instead.

Thanks Milind,
Yes I?m hanging out for CentOS?s Storage / Gluster SIG to release the packages for 3.12.1, I can see the packages were built a week ago but they?re still not on the repo :(

FYI - I've been testing the Gluster 3.12.1 packages with the help of the SIG maintainer and I can confirm that the logs are no longer being filled with NFS or null client errors after the upgrade.

How to setup redundant SIP peers
Hello list,
I try to setup an asterisk-server with different SIP-Peers to PSTN.
The Peer are working and configured in sip.conf:
[peer1]
type=peer
host=10.10.10.1
[peer2]
type=peer
host=10.10.10.2
Now dialout is no problem. Extensions.conf says:
exten => _0Z.,1,Dial(SIP/49${EXTEN:1}@peer1,30)
But how can I setup a failure-route if the SIP-Proxy "peer1" ist not

different callerid for channels
Hi, all.
Is there any chance to set individual CALLERID(num) for channels SIP/peer1, SIP/peer2 in a call Dial(SIP/peer1&SIP/peer2). There is an option to use Dial(SIP/peer1&SIP/peer2,,M(set_callerid)), but the macro will be launched after the channel answered. Not really want to use local channel because of not quite usable cdr.
Thanks.

dundi show peers - UNREACHABLE but I can ping it!
Hi guys!!
This is something that have always bother me, hope you can help me... :)
I've 8 server connected using IAX / DUNDi, it works just fine.
However, sometimes when some of our links goes down the server takes
forever to appear back as OK at DUNDi's list and people can't call the
other Box.
It's happening right now:

Dundi and unknown remote peers
Hi guys,
Is it possible to allow remote peers to connect to your local DUNDi
Asterisk box, even if you don't have them listed in the dundi.conf?

load balancing SIP extensions
What I would like to do is have two identical *
servers which accept registrations of sip extensions
4000-4999.
If I define a rrDNS or LinuxHA then I should have
load-balanced registrations.
However, say ext. 4001 is registered on *1 and 4002 is
registered on *2, if 4001 tries to call 4002 then I
would like to do something like:
- lookup 4002 on *1, try to establish a call if it's

Asterisk 1.4.24 DUNDi CLI commands not found
Are there DUNDi CLI commands for Asterisk 1.4? I have searched google
and I only see the dundi commands in Asterisk 1.6, although I see
reference to them in older version's of Asterisk such as Asterisk 1.4
here: http://www.asteriskguru.com/tutorials/cli_cmd_14.html. When I
view the CLI commands through help I don't see any of the dundi
commands and there are errors when I run a command

DUNDi configuration problem
Hi peeps,
I've been struggling with DUNDi for a few days now and I can't seem to
make call from Asterisk A to Asterisk B. If I do a "dundi show peers",
it finds the other peer but I can't seem to make any calls. Can
anybody help me out here.
Here's the situation:

i am new to asterisk and dundi. we have some branch office which

so every site can contact each other directly. i want to try setup

DUNDi in 1.2.7.1
Hi
few weeks ago I read about redundancy (HA) of asterisk boxes using
DNS, DUNDi, so I decided to give it a try.
OS FreeBSD 6.1-RELEASE, asterisk 1.2.7.1
on one peer I get:

DUNDi Not Able to Handle Complex Failover Situations
This is driving me nuts.
Why doesn't the DUNDILOOKUP function return the weight of a path to a number? The CLI 'dundi lookup' command does. What about the mac address and expiry period? The CLI command returns those, but the DUNDILOOKUP function does not. Why?
We absolutely need this in order to perform out routing logic.
It has become quite apparent to me that DUNDi is _NOT_ suited

DUNDi with two servers
Hi,
I'm having difficulties with using DUNDi between two servers. If it were
three I think I could control looping by limiting TTL, but with two I'm not
sure how to prevent a loop causing bad things to happen. I've tried ttl=1
but things still blow up.
The DUNDi configurations are pretty simple and work just fine in both
directions as long as only one of them is using the switch
