Asterisk 11.6. SIP realtime lost peers after 'sip reload'
Hi, list. We have a problem with loss peers after 'sip reload', our configuration: Asterisk 11.6-cert1, SIP realtime peers, sip.conf: - rtcachefriends=yes - rtsavesysname=yes - rtupdate=yes - rtautoclear=yes When we do 'sip reload' , peers are removing from available. Before `sip reload` : srv-pbx2*CLI> sip show peers Name/username Host

reloading realtime sip peers
Hello, I noticed that changes to realtime sip peers are not applied until a 'reload'. A 'sip reload' does not make any changes to realtime sip peers. When changing for instance the mailbox-parameter in the realtime sip_buddies table, the change is not applied with a 'sip reload'. For every change there is a complete 'reload' necessary. Why does a 'sip

realtime: sip show users/peers
I don't see anything with sip show users and sip show peers, however it works! Is there a trick? I have installed realtime (sipbuddies) on one machine and see sip show peers/users and on my new installed system I don't. Have I forgotten something? bye Ronald

Realtime SIP users/peers - Screwed?
Oh heck. It really looks like realtime has been seriously screwed up. When a call comes in to Asterisk, I can see asterisk executing these queries. SELECT * FROM ast_sip_peers WHERE host = '2XX.YYY.142.205' SELECT * FROM ast_sip_peers WHERE name = '2944093' SELECT * FROM ast_sip_peers WHERE name = '2944093' So, the first thing it does is check and see if there are any

I notice that the field "musiconhold" is not working as when putting someone on hold, the default musiconhold class is always used. musiconhold.conf : [default] mode=files directory=/var/lib/asterisk/moh random=yes ; [106002] mode=files directory=/var/lib/asterisk/moh/106002 random=yes my realtime sip peers have the

realtime peer w/ callbackextension does not register after 'sip reload'
Hello everybody, I am having a problem with realtime SIP peers. On Asterisk 1.8, I had SIP peers for external SIP providers configured in database and additional register lines in sip.conf so they would register. Now I upgraded to Asterisk 11.3.0, partly because of the promised callbackextension feature for realtime peers (https://reviewboard.asterisk.org/r/1717/). Removed the 'register'

Realtime SIP peers - reloading cached info
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi guys, I've been working on a little dialplan fragment for roaming extensions, however the customer wants us to set the MWI indicator for the roaming extension that has just logged in. We're using MySQL realtime, so I've figured out that RealTimeUpdate will happily update the realtime database with the correct mailbox. My problem

Ok... what is 'sip show peers' really used for?
I'd love to understand what the function of the peer list returned by 'sip show peers' is for, especially when Realtime is used. If I start Asterisk with realtime enabled, a 'sip show peers' yields none. As each peer (phone) registers, or a call is made to the peer, Asterisk adds them to the list returned by 'sip show peers'. Correct? Apparently Asterisk doesn't

sip show peer [load] says not a realtime peer
When I do a "sip show peer <peer> load" command in the Asterisk CLI I get the information about the peer I requested, however, there is a line that says "Realtime peer: No". All the other information is correct. According to "help sip show peer" the "Option "load" forces lookup of peer in realtime storage.". Also, this particular peer is

SIP NOTIFY on REALTIME USERS/PEERS
Hi! I've read in the asterisk docs (AstARA.html) that realtime users/peers can't be notified (MWI with SIP NOTIFY) when they have new voicemail messages, because their object are not persistent in memory?! But that's what we really need!!! Is their any work in progress to get these things working? Or are their any known workarounds? I'm using asterisk version 1.2.1 with OBDC

Realtime SIP peers do not register any more after upgrade to Asterisk 13

Upgraded to 13 and now "Mailbox" is empty in sip show peers
Using realtime for SIP. Using standard DB schema. Tried mailbox as varchar(50) and bigint(10) "sip show peer XXX" shows "Mailbox: " (empty) So MWI isn't working This happened before when we tried to go up to 1.8, so we stayed at 1.4 We're forced to go to 13 now. Obviously a lack of MWI is a big issue for 500 units. Any idea why we're not getting it? We're

* SIP dial out with multiple sip users
Hi, I have a scenario that * Server A ( behaving as client) has sip peers, P1, P2, P3 with different contexts. Peers register to another * or any other SIP server. Using realtime * I am able to create a peer entry in sip buddies table and a register statement in sip.conf on client side and it's respected entry in SIP server. Peer is being registered... Server A receives and sends back the

Realtime SIP users/peers
Just spent hours dicking around with SIP Realtime. Every time a phone came up and sent a registration to Asterisk, Asterisk would simply NOT query the database. I had sipusers in extconfig, but added sippeers as well. NOW I can see Asterisk doing a 'SELECT * FROM sippeers WHERE name = '2944093''. Huh??? Uhm, why? It's not a peer! It's a bloody phone, and in my mind

MWI, Realtime SIP, Voicemail and Extensions, UAs registered with SER
I have the following setup: - UAs registered with SER/OpenSER - SIP peers (non cached), extensions, voicemail setup (not message storage) defined in Asterisk 1.2 using Realtime When a message is left in the user's mailbox, no Notify message is sent to SER. 1. If the SIP peer is defined in sip.conf with a host=ser.domain.com then the notfy is sent to SER. 2. If realtimecache=yes is set in

MWI for non-subscribed Realtime peers?
Hi, I have an Asterisk behind an OpenSIPS proxy. The proxy handles registrations and also SIP SUBSCRIBE for MWI. The Asterisk are configured to send NOTIFY to the proxy even when the SUBSCRIBE haven't been received. I can configure a user in sip.conf that works: [az5134939706] type=friend host=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (IP of proxy) port=5060 nat=no mailbox=1234 at customer subscribemwi=no

Dozens of SIP NOTIFY messages with unique call ID's, and the same mailbox repeated multiple times on 1.6.2.6
(sorry this is so long) I could really use a helping hand. I have a 1.6.2.6 installation using LDAP as the realtime engine for voicemail users, SIP users, queues, and some custom hotdesking families. I'm also using ODBC voicemail storage. The issue that I am having is that the UA's (Polycom 501's, 301's and 430's) are receiving multiple SIP NOTIFY messages when the user
