Echo on Zaptel hardware (Wildcard 100XP)
I've enclosed by config... I've tried everything from lowering the tx/rx gains.. to toying with 32/64/128 echo canceling taps... at 256 echoing is really bad... I've even tried recompiling the zaptel driver with the MARK2 super echo canceling support... I still have a very slight echo that I simply can not get rid of.... this echo is ONLY when going VoIP to POTS.. and I understand

problem with Wildcard 100XP and hangup signal
Hi, We are currently testing Asterisk with Wildcard 100XP and serveral Cisco ATA Box. Everything works great except that the card does not detect the hangup signal. We are using a standard Belgian PSTN line. I have not found anything about a be zone (only us, fr, de, nl, ...). Does someone experience the same problem? Do I need to create a new zone be (and how to do that)? Another small

Wildcard failing to load on asterisk@home
I have a E110P which I can't seem to make function and i think it has something to do with interrupts, but I've never had to deal with them before and was wondering if someone could offer some guidance. a modprope zaptel loads fine. when i then do modprobe wcte11xp i get the following: /lib/modules/2.4.21-27.0.1.EL/misc/wcte11xp.o: init_module: No such device Hint: insmod errors can be

Issue using zaptel's dynamic spans.
Hi, Is there any mailing list specifically for zaptel-users ? If yes, then, sorry to bother you people, i could not locate it. Can anybody post a link to it ? If not, then i hope, this is the right place to ask zaptel related questions. I'm using vanilla zaptel 1.4.3 on custom Linux 2.6.15.1. I've have a Redfone FoneBridge2 (TDMoE) gateway which i want to use with the zap drivers. It

One leg in a conference and adjusting stream volume of other leg
Hi all, I'm looking for some serious help. :) I couldn't find a better description for my problem... I think it is quite complex! Here's what I would like to achieve: A SIP caller dials into to my Asterisk 10. He will automatically listen to a specific MP3 stream. Other SIP callers dial also into my Asterisk. They all will automatically listen to the same MP3 stream. All

adjusting y axis labels in lattice plots?
Are there parameters that would allow adjusting y axis labels in lattice plots? E.g in the following simple example require(lattice) xyplot(rnorm(10) ~ 1:10, scales=list(alternating=2)) it would be nice to have the y axis labels adjusted to the right or at the decimal point instead of left adjustment. Problem adjusting x-labels with bargraphCI
Hello: I'm having quite a bit of difficulty adjusting the x-labels using bargraphCI. I've tried using text and srt=45 to rotate the labels or mtext for 2 lines to break up the labels. However, using either method, I cannot line up the labels with the midpoints of the bars (they line up with some sort of tick mark that is off the midpoint of the bars). Any suggestions would be greatly

Adjusting for initial status (intercept) in lme growth models
Hi everyone, I have a quick and probably easy question about lme for this list. Say, for instance you want to model growth in pituitary distance as a function of age in the Orthodont dataset. fm1 = lme(distance ~ I(age-8), random = ~ 1 + I(age-8) | Subject, data = Orthodont) You notice that there is substantial variability in the intercepts (initial distance) for people at 8 years, and that

Adjusting MaxNwts in MICE Package
Hi, I'm trying to impute a large data set using mice but I keep getting this: Error in nnet.default(X, Y, w, mask = mask, size = 0, skip = TRUE, softmax = TRUE, : too many (2944) weights nnet.default uses the argument MaxNWts to set a maximum number of weights. I've tried to change nnet.default to get around this, but mice is somehow still passing an argument that sets the maximum

R-beta: adjusting y-axis scale with multiple lines in plot
Hello -- I am plotting multiple densities in a single plot. If the max of a new density (added with 'lines()') is sufficiently larger than that of the one first plotted (using 'plot()'), the new density is cut or trucated off of the figure. Is there a simple way of adjusting the yscale after all lines have been added? Or is the procedure to be used to first estimate all

Looking for docs on adjusting txgain/rxgain
I am looking for docs on how to diagnose and adjust the rx/tx gain in zapata.conf. The wiki has a link to this article but it no longer exists on the server. http://lists.digium.com/pipermail/asterisk-users/2004-November/071301.html

Adjusting Rx and Tx gains
Hello, could I adjust the Rx and Tx gains for SIP and CAPI? If it is possible, how should I do it? Adjusting the Axis in a histogram to the prespecified breaks
Hello I tried a few searches on hist, histogram, equidist and space (space=0 was mentioned in one contribution), but none of that so far worked. It also says in the help "##-- For non-equidistant breaks, counts should NOT be graphed unscaled:" - which is precisely what I am looking for, but I cannot find it. I want to make a histogram using breaks which are spaced exponentially and in

Adjusting coordinates in raster plots
Dear R-Help, When plotting a raster object the origin (0,0) is placed in the center. E.g. using: library(raster) mat = matrix(runif(100),10,10) r <- raster(ncol=10, nrow=10) values(r) <- mat plot(r, main='Raster example',xlab="x",ylab="y") Does anyone know how to adjust the coordinate system? E.g. I would like to have 0,0 at the top left. My naive approach

Adjusting two continuous variables by one continuous variable
Hi, I want to look at the relationship between 2 continuous/quantitative variables while adjusting for a third continuous variable. For example: relationship between height and weight adjusted for age. As I understand it using a glm would work if I had a categorical variable (I could make age into a categories) but I am interested to know if anyone knows how I can do this analysis with out making

Adjusting two continuous variables by one continuous vari able
Graphically, you can use coplot() or lattice to see how the relationship between height and weight changes with age. With a linear model, you can do something like: lm(height ~ weight * age, ...) and work out the interpretation of the coefficients.
