PostgreSQL & SELinux problem
Hi. I just installed Centos 4. I''m pretty sure that I chose to have it install postgresql but when the system came up, it wasn''t there. No worries. I installed it from the net with ''yum''. Unfortunately, when I started it up and it tried to init the database, I got a bunch of SELinux errors: Mar 3 13:24:22 dirty kernel: audit(1109874262.006:0): avc:

Re: 5, 000 concurrent calls system rollout question
Why is using ulaw or alaw an unlikely scenario? I wouldn't use anything but ulaw\alaw. The Bells can compete on price and will if they have to. Where they CAN'T compete is quality. If there were something better than 711, I'd offer that. Well, there is 722, but not many things support it. ---- Mike Hammett Intelligent Computing Solutions http://www.ics-il.com ----- Original

Add Country to CDR's
List, Does anyone know how to add the dst Country to the CDR's via Macro (preferably). For example, I will add a column in the cdr DB table and when someone dials 01158212XXX. I want the CDR's to show Caracas as the destination in this new column. I have all of the International destinations in my extensions.conf like the example below: [macro-dialout-intl] exten =>

Transfer and CDR's
Hello I have a problem with bad CDR's after transfer of call. This is an example: I've called from 616222820 to 616222821. Next I've called from 616668020 to 0600340000 and then I've transfered the call. I think, that I should received two CDR's where: in first CDR source=616222820 and destination=616222821 in second CDR source= 616222820 and destination=0600340000 but

Writing CDR's to two database servers
All; I know that there are probably several solutions to this problem, but what I am trying to do is provide some redundancy for my customers CDR data. I know that doing simple backups of MySQL is probably the easiest way to go, but I'm thinking that there may be some benefit to simultaneously writing the CDR data to multiple servers at once. However, I'm drawing a blank on this one.

CDR's -> ODBC and logging IP's
Hello.. I have configured asterisk to send CDR's to an ODBC datasource on IAX calls I can find the IP address of the caller in the 'channel' field For example: IAX2/<username>@<ipaddr>:4569-458 On SIP calls I never see the IP address of the caller For example: SIP/<username>-9d51 So on SIP calls there is not any possibility to log the ip adress of the

Billing and CDR's
Hmmm, perhaps I am the only one who doesn't trust their telco (I doubt it) but... I have the rates that I currently pay my telco, and would like to extract my CDR's and add an additional field displaying the actual price paid for the call. I would like to do this based on destination phone number, and outgoing channel. However, I have a few difficulties: 1) I pay a different rate for

Asterisk's DANGEROUS Transfer CDR's
Hi All, PLEASE READ if you depend on Asterisk CDR's and support transfers. Apologies for the shout but I'm desperate to get others to agree Asterisk has a big problem with the CDR's that are generated for transfers. I can understand why not too many people are interested as transfers are complicated and messy. However for those of us having to support transfers and depending on
