Hi Guys, I got 2 internal HFC-S[5] (not sure what character this is) internal modem cards yesterday, thought I would get different makes as the one was a named brand, the other not... but anyway... Its picked up by lscpi as a ... "Network Controller: Cologne Chip Designs GmbH ISDN network controller [HFC-PCI] (rev 02)" I'm using kernel 2.6.10, and I saw I must use CAPI. I

[LLVMdev] C/C++ interpreter...
Hi, what would be needed to make a C/C++ interpreter using the LLVM libraries. We have in our project (http://root.cern.ch) a C/C++ interpreter (http://root.cern.ch/twiki/bin/view/ROOT/CINT), but it has some limitations (the biggest being maintenance). I see there is a libLLVMInterpreter that can interpret the LLVM IR. Could this be used to interpret, or a starting point, to an real

mISDN: No DID/extension information returns busy to caller
I'm running a setup with chan_misdn on a austrian PTP-line. When somebody dials in without an extension, he gets a busy signal. I don't see the call at all in asterisk. I *have* set immediate=yes in misdn.conf. And I *do* have an s-extension in my dialplan for the context used by misdn. Calls that provide an extension work fine. Attached is my misdn.conf and a verbose 3, misdn set debug

[LLVMdev] [cfe-dev] Developer meeting videos up
Hi Chris, it would be good if "the powers that be" could be made to understand that if only Apple employees are not allowed to put up their slides while Apple is employing the core of the LLVM foundation, that this sends the absolute wrong message on openness of the project. It is also totally incompatible with the fantastic work you guys are doing and your tremendous presence

Problem with ups-dummy driver (repeater mode)
Hi, I have a NUT client that requires the UPS it monitors to be named "ups". The client (a Synology NAS) does not provide a method to change this configuration. My setup consists of multiple UPSes monitored by a single master and I'd rather not have 1/4 UPSes named `ups` while the other 3/4 are named something descriptive and helpful for administration. I think I should be able

Looking for a way to show caller id information on the desktop
Hi there. My problem, I can't figure out how to ask this question. So, hopefully someone out here can point me to the FM on this. I would like to have either a web page or an application that I can view that whenever a call arrives on the Asterisk server the application will display the callerid information. I've found quite a few examples of the reverse of this. To where a script is

Zaptel - make b410p fails on Ubuntu 6.10
Hi, I've been able to make make install the Zaptel drivers (1.2). I'm using a b410p so I executed the following command make b410p. I tried this on multiple machines, but it always failes: root@asterisk:/usr/src/zaptel-1.2.11# make b410p [ -f misdn-b410p.tar.bz ] || wget ftp://ftp.digium.com/pub/zaptel/b410p/misdn-b410p.tar.gz --23:59:54--

mISDN & Asterisk 1.4: HFC-S card not responsive
Hi, I have installed Asterisk 1.4 with mISDN with the install-asterisk.tar.gz script from beronet.com. On my system I have two cards, one a AVM Frit!Card Pci 2.0 and one HFC-S chip. I know both to work well with mISDN on my system from a previous installation. Now however, the AVM card works well at first glance, i.e. it "registers" incoming calls and works through the asterisk

asterisk DTMF detection
Hi, Hi All, I've just delved into the world of asterisk and I'm having a few dtmf issues. Internally, amongst sip phones, dtmf is fine. Externally, if you ring from a GSM mobile, DTMF is fine, however if you ring from a standard phone, DTMF fails to register. I am attempting to use a quad port HFC-4S Beronet Card. I've been searching the web most of the last week and
