Call Manager or Asterisk
Hello list. No intention to start a flamewar here but I would really like opinions from those who know both the Cisco and Asterisk system. I'm working for a company with 15 offices in 11 countries, offices are relatively small (3-20 people each) and most of them have a Cisco 1760 Router installed with Call manager express (CME) and 1-3 ISDN lines (2-6 simultaneous calls). "Alpha testers" para el paquete rPython
Hola, ¿qué tal? Estoy buscando "alpha testers" para mi paquete rPython. El paquete es la evolución natural de rJython, un paquete de R que permite llamar a Jython, el dialecto de Python que corre sobre la máquina virtual de Java, desde R. rPython permite llamar al verdadero Python. Funciona perfectamente en mi máquina, pero necesito ver qué problemas de instalación y uso aparecen en

Raw Hangup messages with IAX2?
Hi All, I am running asterisk 1.2. I have a softphone connecting from a coworkers home through their router using IAX2 through our router at the office. Both have port 4569 for TCP and UDP opened and forwarded to the right pc and server. I'm seeing Raw Hangup <person's IP address>, src=0. dst=10787 messages show up in the log like 10 every 5 seconds. We can still make calls and

Supercripting text
Dear R users, I recently developed a plotting function in R and introduced it to my coworkers. The function is designed to make plotting easier and more efficient, which will in turn be more cost-effective for the company. The reviews for the function have been positive thus far, except for one issue -- addition of superscripts to the title. We need superscipts in the titles sometimes to

Rspec Brown Bag
Hello, I''m scheduled to give a rspec brown bag this Wednesday (11/22) for my company (Pivotal Computer Systems, http://www.pivotalsf.com). I did see Dave Astel''s talk as well as several of my coworkers. The developers at my workplace are experienced Agile developers. What would be some good things to focus on for this brown bag? Are there slides to presentations that would be

Dear R Users, I'm finding that when I execute the following bit of code, that the new line argument is actually displayed as text in the graphics device. How do I avoid this happening? mtext(side=2, line=5.5, expression(paste("Monthly Summed Runoff (mm/month)", "/n", "and Summed Monthly Precipitation (mm x ",10^2,"/month)"))) I suspect that I've

URGENT! Shellshock fix DOES NOT fix the bug on CentOS 5.4
Good afternoon! After applying the latest bash RPM listed at http://lists.centos.org/pipermail/centos-announce/2014-September/020594.html : The fixed RPM (bash-3.2-33.el5_10.4.x86_64.rpm) DOES work just fine on CentOS 5.10. However, it DOES NOT work on CentOS 5.4. That is, bash runs fine, but IS STILL VULNERABLE TO SHELLSHOCK! Scary screenie at: http://i.imgur.com/yR7sBjV.png It looks like

Fedora Directory Authentication on CentOS 5
Hi, I am trying to set up a Fedora Directory server for centralised authentication. I configure the directory server, add a user called (via the Java GUI) test and then, using system-config-authentication, enable LDAP on both tabs. I then try to log-in using the test account I set up on the directory, but I get an error message in /var/log/messages: May 30 16:28:27 ds1 sshd(pam_unix)[4445]:
