Hello Everyone, We have recently installed a pair of Trixbox servers in for a client of our. They have two locations, with one server each. Source Based Call Routing
Hi List, I have a scenario that I want to try out (we potential have a client who would need this), but I am as of yet unable to find much help with it. What we want to do is have an asterisk box with a large number of extensions (1000+). This asterisk box will have approximately 3 SIP trunks setup back to providers. What we want to do is to be able to define groups of extensions that use

Trusted HP-UX 10.26
I haven't noticed any work on Trusted HP-UX 10.26 in the archives (then again maybe I missed it). I have made changes to get sshd working on trusted HP-UX, ssh already worked. I can supply a patch, but before I did I was wondering if it is best to send the patch to this list, or file it as a bug report? The patch is just around 6k, and includes changes to configure.ac and acconfig.h, allong

test question, variance
Can someone get me going in the right direction with this test question? We have went as far as t.test in our class, but not to power or anova yet. I have pasted the question and a summary of the dataset "gpa". 5. Given that all the GPA data in this dataset is comprised of means, would you expect the underlying dataset of students? individual GPA to be more variable or less variable

Dear R-help list, I'm new to R. ez_where plugin updated features.
Friends- I wanted to let people know that there is a new experimental release of this plugin. I would love feedback on syntax and features. There is now a full test suite with fixtures that covers all the available syntax. Look at the test suite for more syntax possibilities. There have been many additions since my last release. Fabien Atelier has been working on this with me and has

VMWare Sandbox
I need to experiment with ldap for a site I manage, and wondered if vmware would be a good way to go for some testing. My current server is RHEL3, which is getting dated, and I think that I should refresh this server entirely in the move to ldap. We need to have an ldap server for publishing email addresses for a VPN for a nursing home that the upstream can harvest and we can browse to send

Passing the name of a variable to a function
Dear colleagues, I have a problem which has bitten me occasionally. I often need to prepare graphs for many variables in a data set, but seldom for all. or for any large number of sequential or sequentially named variables. Often I need several graphs for different subsets of the dataset for a given variable. I run into similar problems with other needs besides graphing. What I would like to

PLEASE TEST snapshots
The next OpenSSH release is close, too. If you want OpenSSH 3.2 to be the best version of OpenSSH, then please test the snapshots. If you like to see new features in future OpenSSH releases, then test the snapshots. If you are running OpenBSD then please test the OpenBSD snapshots. If you are running the portable OpenSSH release then please test the nightly snapshots from

Advice on recoding a variable depending on another which contains NAs
Dear colleagues, I would be very grateful for your help with the following. I have banged my head off this question several times in the past, and repeatedly over the last week. I have looked in the usual places and found no obvious solution. I fear that this just means I didn't recognize it, but I'd be very grateful for your help. I am scoring 8000 psychometric tests - the SCQ, if

HP-UX PAM with Trusted System patch
I'm fairly new to the list and new to submitting patches. Can someone please verify the attached patch for running a HP-UX Trusted System with PAM and OpenSSH 3.4p1? The problem seemed to be that pam couldn't verify the user via __pamh after the call to permanently_set_uid in session.c. So I called do_pam_session prior to the call and added a function do_pam_set_tty in order to set the

CentOS on new Thinkpads
Is anyone running CentOS on a newish Thinkpad? I have been using Linux as my primary workstation since about 97 and it seems like using Linux as a desktop has slipped over the years. After the Gnome desktop dumb-down, I have been nursing CentOS 6.8 on a 5 yo Toshiba. So I was hoping that someone has some recent real-world experience with new Thinkpads. So is anyone running a new Thinkpad? What

Hi all! Sorry for my poor english, i'm italian. I installed Digium B410P on my asterisk server. I followed the official installation instructions found on digium site. Possible to add domain user accounts to a local linux group on samba-3 domain member server?
Hello, I've set up a Samba 3.0.2a domain member server on an existing Windows NT4 domain utilizing Winbind to resolve user authentication to my server. I would like to create local groups on my Samba server containing users from the NT domain to control access to shares on the Samba server. I've googled for a couple days trying to find something that will help me do this, but the
