Still trying to make my Asterisk PBK talk to our Nortel Phone Switch (C15k). Nortel did an upgrade which changed a bunch of things today, so I thought I'd give it another shot. Nortel C15K <-> Asterisk
Has anyone had any luck getting an asterisk box to talk to a Nortel C15K softswitch? Or any Nortel "sip" products? I've been playing with it for several days and can't seem to pass calls either direction. I know that whike the Nortel says the C15K speaks SIP, it really speaks nortel's implementation of SIP, but I thought I could get it to at least pass simple calls back

Asterisk 1.4.2 connection to Nortel CS1000M -followup with log
Here is the CS1000 log. Again, the CS1000 using SIP accepts incoming calls just fine. However, using outgoing call files the CS1000 is hanging up after I answer the call. I dont know why? The problem with the extra ptime descriptions in the SDP has been fixed in Asterisk (see http://lists.digium.com/pipermail/svn-commits/2006-October/017694.html). I've got the latest version of the 1.4 branch from SVN and have verified that the codec negotiation is working again. If you don't want to try the latest SVN version, then you'll have to restrict the phones to a single codec

Odd queue issue
Hi, I have 2 systems (A and B). SIREN14 call setup and record/playback

channel not hungup (zombie?) so call limit not reset to zero
im having a strange problem related to call-limit for peers. well im not sure if its related to call-limmit or not. Bottom line is: I call a user A, from user B. user B hears silence, untill it goes to voicemail. when user B hangsup. user B's call limit is reset to 0 but user A's call limit is not reset.strange thing is user A's status on cli is shown as NOANSWER, while user B did not

miserable time with Cisco ATA186
I'm having a horrible experience getting a Cisco ATA-186 to work with *. I can make calls from the ATA with no problems. However, incoming calls make the ATA ring once, and then the call is disconnected. I have no problems with my Sipura 2000 or my Grandstream phones. I am running 2.16.1 sip code on the ATA 186. Neither * nor the ATA is behind a NAT. They are both on public IP addresses

Hi, I am facing an issue while testing the video mail service of Asterisk. I have two different setup on one setup client being used is Mercuro while on the other client is Android based. On the Mercuro setup video mail is stored and retrieved properly while with Android based setup video?mail is not stored (audio is through).
