Problems with installing
Hi!
I'm having problems with installing Wine. I have downloaded Wine from CVS,
and tried to install it with tools/wineinstall, but got some errors. This
comes from my shell:
[wayne@wayne wine]$ ./tools/wineinstall
WINE Installer v0.73
I see that WINE has already been configured, so I'll skip that.
We need to install wine as root user, do you want us to build wine,

Problems compiling Wine
Hello,
The lack of debian packages for 0.9.13 have made me decide to compile
from source instead. So I uninstalled all wine files and downloaded the
sources. I'm using a system based mostly on Debian Sarge, but with some
backports.
I ran ./configure and there were some packages I had to get, but soon it
worked well.
When I tried make depend the problems started. This is the output I get

elf32-i386 kernel format
Hi,
i'd like to load an RTEMS executive file with pxelinux , the file format
generated after the compilation is :
ELF 32-bits LSB executable Intel 80386, version 1 (SYSV), statically
linked, stripped
PXElinux seems to not recognize this format, the error msg is:
invalid or corrupt kernel image
Did you have already see such problem ?
Is it a workaround ?
Thanks for your help.

Bug#721999: dpkg-shlibdeps: error: couldn't find library libxenstore.so.3.0 needed by debian,/libxen-4.3/usr/lib/libxenlight-4.3.so (ELF format: 'elf64-x86-64'; RPATH: '/usr,/lib')
Hi,
This is just a quick note that I receive effectively the same error when
doing an amd64 build.
A workaround is to install the binary package libxenstore3.0 but of
course the source build should not require an external install of one of
the packages that it builds.

Extend Multiboot1 with support for ELF64 file format
I am the author of patch, and I'm still using it. Not very carefully tested thought, but seems to work well. As you can see, it's basically the same code as in loading Elf32 binary.
If you need more information, feel free to ask me.

SSE return w/ elf64 ABI
Hi,
LLVM made a change a few months ago and starting erroring out when a float
is returned in x64 and SSE is disabled. This makes sense, really, since
it's specified by the ABI that the return value must be put in a register
you were told to disable, but it's breaking soft floats in Rust on x64. It
seems there are two options: LLVM could break the ABI spec and have working

Histogram
Dear all,
I have a surprising problem with the representation of frequencies in a
histogram.
Consider, for example, the R code:
b<-rnorm(2000,3.5,0.3)
hist(b,freq=F)
When I plotted the histogram, I expected that values in the y-axis (the
probability) varied between 0 and 1. Instead, they varied within the
range 0-1.3.
Have you got any suggestion for obtaining a correct graph with

[PATCH] Extend Multiboot1 with support for ELF64 file format
This patch is just a (shameless) copy from bug #28 [1].
The original patch has been sitting there for a couple of years now,
and it was based on Syslinux v 4.05.
The patch I am posting here is just a re-base on v.6.03. Whichever
inadequate formatting (tabs, trailing spaces...), or any kind of
correction that was required for the original patch to be accepted, is
probably still required now.
