Got Anonymous from DID incoming call and can't re-send to another asterisk with new callerid
Hi, I have two asterisk servers with the same version of 1.4.29.1. The first server named it as MYE1. MYE1 is an incoming server that can accept incoming calls from PSTN(ZAP E1). The second server is a pbx functions server and named it as MYPBX(SIP). The sip.conf of MYE1 likes below: [MYPBX] type=peer host=mypbx.abc.com nat=no disallow=all allow=g729 canreinvite=yes qualify=no context=default

Asterisk GOIP Outgoing Callerid not working
Hello I have a simple 1 channel goip gateway (http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/GoIP). The incoming and outgoing calls work with Asterisk except the caller ID for the outgoing calls. I think I have exhausted all possible options regarding setting a caller ID and it still doesn't work. The recipients will get "private number". The incomings caller ids are work just fine. exten

Pass CallerID when call forwards to PSTN?
Hi, Incoming calls to one of my lines are set to ring two internal lines and simultaneously start ringing my cell phone. Something like this: exten => s,1,Dial(SIP/2201&SIP/2202&IAX2/my_cell at carrier),90) The internal lines 2201 and 2202 will both see the callerID for the incoming call, but my cell phone will show the callerID for asterisk, not the calling party. What's the

Can't block CallerID outbound
Curious if anyone else has run into this. I am testing this with a Sipura-2000 with firmware rev 1.0.33. On FC1 with Asterisk 1.0 Stable branch 4/1/2004 CVS (no April fools jokes please :) ) The Sipura has the ability so when you dial *67 it turns ON CID block and *68 turns it back off. (This is for outbound calls) When I *67 (activate CID Block) dial, and look at the SIP INVITE I see that it

debugging callerid help
I've got a rather strange callerid problem and don't know how to debug it. I've got two X100P cards installed in a RH9 box and both are connected to individual pstn pots lines. Both are equipped with callerid and both display callerid info on regular analog phones (verified 100%). Incoming and outgoing calls are handled just fine. When an incoming call arrives on one X100P card, *

blind transfer dumping calls
I am using asterisk 1.4.10 and seem to be having a problem with blind transfer. This could very well be a pebkac problem but I'm not sure. A call comes in on a Zap channel and answered just find by a context that does a Goto which calls a macro (seems convoluted now that I look at it) to do some CID bookkeeping but that ultimately dials all of the phones interested in calls from the Zap

Inbound Callerid for SIP Phones
I have a number of inbound analog lines connecting through Digium cards to an Asterisk box. Asterisk then bridges the calls over to the internal extensions which are all SIP phones. Currenly the inbound lines do not have callerid on them so callerid=no in my zapata.conf file. What happens on inbound calls is that the SIP extensions are dialed but their callerid shows

Caching CALLERID(dnid)
Hi, We encounter a problem with the variable CALLERID(dnid) We use E1 lines where we can make an inbound call or an outbound call on the same channel (not at the same time) If the CALLERID(dnid) is not used, than the CALLERID(dnid) will be the CALLERID(dnid) of the previous call For example: - First we get a inbound call on channel DAHDI/11-1 with CALLERID(dnid) = '655871460' We read

lookup a anonymous internal caller
Dear list, following problem, i have some users, who are supressing their callerid. This setting is adjusted at the sip phone. So if these guys are calling internal persons nobody sees the callerid. I am looking for the following resolution: User has set his phone to anonymous, user calls somebody internal, Asterisk initials a lookup on the channel and generates a new callerid for the

Definitive CallerID Format and anonymous?
All, I use various IAX providers to terminate my outbound calls. I set the caller-ID to one of several DIDs, based on the called number. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason as to what the called user sees, however. Calls to most cell-phones show *exactly* the number I submit. Calls to land-lines sometimes show, other times not. Calls to other voip-providers most often show, but

NuFone and CallerID
Hey Everyone, I am using NuFone for 866 inbound service and I am trying to figure out the callerid part of it. Any call into my * system just shows "Toll Free Call" and will not give me the calling party's caller ID info. Is this just something I have to live with using NuFOne, or did I miss some type of config in * that will grab the callerID other than the inbound 866 number...?

TBM400 no callerid on incoming calls?
I have installed my TDM11B according to the docs at the Digium page but I do not get incoming caller id. My telco confirmed that callerid should be passed but I do not see it coming in. I am in The Netherlands with a KPN line. The number is not even visible in console mode on * running stable 1.0.5. Ideas anyone? -- Starting simple switch on 'Zap/4-1' Feb 1 19:19:40 NOTICE[16582]:

HOWTO: A simple AGI application to modify incomi ng CallerID on the fly using SQL Server and *not* UnixODBC
Requirements: 1. http://sourceforge.net/projects/odbcsock 2. The SQL server must be in the same subnet as your * server Howto: 1. Install ODBCSocketServer on your SQL server and verify connection with the included VB COM app from a Windows box. 2. Decide how you want to transform the Caller ID. In my case, I want to do a lookup of the CallerID number in SQL server and prepend the Caller ID

QuadBRI: How to set the outgoing callerid (KPN - NL)
Hello all, Recently I purchased an QuadBRI card from junghanns.net after some playing around, reconfiguring dialplans etc with the exception of 1 thing everything seems to work: I seem to be unable to set the outbound callerid. The dutch telecom operator (KPN) provided me with 4 MSN's on 1 BRI interface. In the past years I'm more then used to setting the MSN without the leading 0, this

zaphfc - TE mode - callerid trouble
I've got a bit trouble with callerid and zaphfc cards. Basically zaphfc doesn't add the "0" in front of national numbers (haven't tried a international call yet). With chan_capi that allways worked fine, however i had to define the national and international prefixes in capi.conf. Is there something similar in zapata.conf ? Here is my zapata.conf: [channels]
