Help 60Hz Hum?
Hey guys,
I am trying to diagnose a hum in my FXO lines
I am using an Adtran 750 with 8 FXO ports. I am getting a pretty bad hum
on the line during a call.
I have checked the Telco side of the 66 block and there is no hum there
so it's my problem to fix.
I have tried to lower the gain but that reduces the call volume to much.
Where else should I be looking?
Setup as follows

Windows file directory creation permission confusion

Simple Samba file share, Domain Controller

I am having problems getting folder and file permissions to working
properly from the Windows clients. No setting I change in smb.conf have
any effect on files and folders created from windows clients. (I see
this kind of question a lot other places so you must be tired of it.)

Problem with the game "Pilgrim"
Hi,
"Pilgrim" is a quite old, not very popular, adventure from "Arxel Tribe", designed for Windows 95. But is has a very good story, riddles and atmosphere and so I would love to play it.
Unfortunately the game crashes at a specific point in the game, which did not happen on my old Win95-PC (doesn't exist anymore).
For those who might be familiar with that games, its when

Retiring VS2015 Support
AFAICT we traditionally only support building llvm/clang with the 2 most
recent releases of Visual Studio.
With the release of VS2019, what do people think of retiring VS2015
support before the next major llvm/clang release?
As well as simplifying C++14 migration (admittedly only a little), this
should also let us remove a number of hacks (e.g. the
alignas/AlignedCharArray hack in

[RFC] Backend for Motorola 6800 series CPU (M68k)
As well as the actual patch reviews, has there been official approval
that the M68k experimental backend can be added to trunk? I guess we
need a "Backend: M68k" bugzilla component - is there anything else?

According to buildbot log here

for Simon's example ICE.

How to disable SSL and TLSv1.1?
I'm running Dovecot 2.2.5 and want to make it refuse SSLv2, SSLv3 and
TLSv1.0. Clients will opportunistically use TLS 1.1 and 1.2, but now I
want require they do so. Is it enough to set
ssl_cipher_list = HIGH:!SSLv2:!SSLv3:!TLSv1.0:!aNULL:!MD5
or are there additional settings I need to specify?

Ghost ringing
We are having the strangest issue that I have seen for some time. A
customer of ours with Polycom phones (4x ip335, 2x ip550) will
occasionally (maybe 1 in 50 calls) hear ringing on the line along with the
other party. It has happened on both incoming and outgoing calls across
apparently all of the phones. We use ip550 in our office with Asterisk and
have never had such a problem (we run the same

A Rails-based CMS?
Is there a working Rails-based CMS out there and available? I''ve looked
on the web a bit this morning but have not found anything that can be

Repeated Measures, groupedData and lme
Hello
I am trying to fit a REML to some soil mineral data which has been
collected over the time period 1999 - 2004. I want to know if the 19
different treatments imposed, differ in terms of their soil mineral
content. A tree model of the data has shown differences between the
treatments can be attributed to the Magnesium, Potassium and organic
matter content of the soil, with Magnesium being the

Add llvm-mca to CODE_OWNERS.TXT
Please can we add a code owner entry for llvm-mca, which should probably
be Andrea.
I wasn't sure if we need to go through a full nomination process for new
tools like this (and llvm-exegesis?) or we can just add the primary
contributor to the CODE_OWNERS.TXT list immediately.
Thanks, Simon.

Polycom phones and ring no answer/302 Moved Temporarily
I have several Polycom IP550 phones running UC 4.0.3, connected to Asterisk 1.8.
Setting forwarding for "Always" works as expected; the phone issues a 302 Moved Temporarily, and Asterisk shifts the call to the new location.
Setting forwarding to "No Answer" means a 302 never gets issued. It just rings and eventually goes to voicemail. Watching with Wireshark, I never see a

Non-Temporal hints from Loop Vectorizer
Actually i am working on vector accelerator which will perform those
instructions which are non temporal.
for instance if i have this loop
for(i=0;i<2048;i++)
a[i]=b[i]+c[i];
currently it emits following IR;
%0 = getelementptr inbounds [2048 x i32], [2048 x i32]* @b, i64 0, i64
%index
%1 = bitcast i32* %0 to <16 x i32>*
%wide.load = load <16 x i32>, <16 x i32>* %1,
