Bad hangup event cause
Hello, i have a problem with the hangup cause received from the AMI in the Hangup events. All calls that arent answered after ringing are returning hangup cause 16 (normal clearing) instead 19.
Im running asterisk 1.4.11, the calls are generated to a SIP peer using the AMI originate command.
This is the 'sip debug' output:
Reliably Transmitting (no NAT) to 192.168.0.70:5060:

Asterisk and MEGACO
Hello.
I'm a little surprised with the set of VoIP protocols
asterisk supports. But I can't find MEGACO. Is there
any known reason or problem with Asterisk not to
support MEGACO?
Thanks, Arsen.

My apologies if you will receive this twice as I posted it to the RForum
forum yesterday. My understanding is that it is a separate forum. Gently
disabuse me of this notion if I am mistaken.

Debo instalar

instalarlo? ¿Se hace con el mismo archivo R-2.10.0-win32? ¿Debo cuidar o
cambiar algo antes o

Asterisk H.248 Support
I have been searching for some documentation that would indicate if
Asterisk supports H.248 and everything I have come across seems to
indicate I should use MGCP which I would agree is a better choice but
unfortunately the equipment I am trying to integrate only does H.248.
Could anyone point me to something related to this.

SMS Service over SIP/IAX/h323/MCGP
The problem I have had with many SMS email gateways, is that they do not
allow to reply back. Of course, email is a superior service over SMS, but
does not really replace it ( - at least not until all the mobile phones have
email access on them...).
It would be nice if the SMS service would be available not only on
GSM/GPRS/etc., but also on any telephone number in the world - or at least

Recognition Failure
I keep getting a Recognition failed for "/dispatch.fcgi" error. I
search for a solution and the closest I came to finding one was
someone saying "look at the Rewrite in .htaccess and you''ll be able
to figure it out." Well, I can''t! If anyone could help, I would
appreciate it.
Thanks!

Lower-case filenames on receiver side
Hi everybody,
i've been using rsync for quite some time to sync files between my
laptop and my desktop
for example i use the following to backup the music library (from Mac
to Linux)
> rsync -rvzu --exclude=.DS_Store --delete --exclude 'Podcasts/*'
> $LOCAL_MUSI $REMOTE_MUSIC >> $LOGFILE
An odd thing i always noticed is that some files were always copied,

Creación grupo País Vasco
Buenas chicos,

Reverse sorting
I am getting strange results when I reverse sort a query. I am sorting
by date, but it doesn''t seem to be related to dates (I have tried just
integers). I also paginate the results. Items in the result set are
sometimes duplicated and the not ordered at all. When I try a
non-reverse sort I don''t see duplicates and the ordering is correct. Any
ideas what is going on? Thanks

shlib problems with Intel compiler
Hi,
I'm encountering trouble compiling caTools_1.17.1.tar.gz and e1071_1.6-4.tar.gz on a Linux system using the Intel compiler suite. 14 other packages I generally use installed without any trouble. I notice both of these trouble packages have a C++ component, so I wonder if that might be the issue. Below, there's information on my platform, compiler, and some diagnostic output showing
