Denon AVR-5308CI with FLAC decoding!
I just read on Gizmodo that the new Denon AVR-5308CI will include FLAC decoding! According to the text, it supports "USB inputs for bus-powered HDD, along with AAC, FLAC, WMA Lossless, MP3 and WAV decoding" Very happy to see FLAC being supported by a big name like Denon! Josh (or anyone else), curious if you know to what extent the support is offered or if you have any further

[LLVMdev] Upcoming PyPy sprint
Hi LLVM-dev! As you know, I'm involved with the PyPy Python compiler effort and have been writing the LLVM backend (actually, I have written two LLVM backends by now :-) . The LLVM backend will be one of the topics of the upcoming PyPy sprint (see link below), which will take place in Gothenburg, Sweden. Since I only started using LLVm half a year ago my experience with it is somewhat

[LLVMdev] PyPy sprint announcement: Gothenburg 7th - 11th December 2005
Hello LLVM-ers, Most of you know of the LLVM backend in PyPy. We would like to use LLVM JIT for the next phase of PyPy. If any of you would like to help us, please come to Gothenburg next december. We have not put an LLVM track on the todo-list below mainly because noone will be there dedicated to LLVM. If however someone would like to participate we will make sure some of the PyPy

[LLVMdev] LLVM sprint RFC
Hi all, I'd like to coordinate a LLVM sprint at Google in Mountain View. I discussed this with Chris at the LLVM developers day, but didn't get around to figuring out the logistics until now. I'm emailing here to take a survey of what works best for people: 1. Pick all that work for you: weekdays, weekends, evenings. 2. Pick a time frame that you like best: October, early December,

CallerID not passed to Sprint & Verizon Cellphones via XO PRI
Hi, I have an odd problem where when a call is made to any landline phone the callerid number shows up on the caller id device with no problems. However when I call a cell phone from Sprint or Verizon it always shows up as unavaliable. I've tried multiple cell phones from each carrier. Though today I called a t-mobile phone and the callerid came through fine. Is this an * level problem

Sprint PCS -> Asterisk through Digium TDM400P
Does anyone have trouble with dialing in to an Asterisk Server and having the DTMF digits recognized? We have some clients who are calling in with cell phones, notably those with SprintPCS service, who's DTMF is just never recognized. I have tried relax_dtmf on and off, with no improvement. My rxgain is currently set to 3. Can anyone suggest possible solutions? Incoming calls are

Sprint Vision Phones ReadyLink=SIP?
I was playing with a Sprint Vision phone recently and noticed when viewing the low level ReadyLink configuration screens that there are references to SIP registrars and the like. Does anyone happen to know if Sprint's implementation of ReadyLink truly is SIP based, and if so, managed to get it to interoperate with Asterisk. If so, it would prove to be an interesting paging mechanism and

sprint FNTM(sp?) line
Is anyone using asterisk with the Zapata hardware and a Sprint FNTM(I have seen this spelled fantom) T1 line? I can take calls, but: 1. I don't know the correct way to get ANI/DNIS (*ANI*DNIS*) 2. I cannot place outbound calls. From a custom app on another hardware/software platform I know from experience that to place the outbound call, I need to go offhook and then wait for a wink from the

GSoC Reunion + Documentation Sprint
Gaurav, James and I are attending the GSoC reunion in San Jose, California, USA this weekend, so if anyone else is around, do come and say hello. We're also going to be holding a documentation sprint on Monday and Tuesday next week in San Francisco. If anyone else wants to take part (remotely would work) let me know. The only plan we have so far is to come up with a plan over the weekend.
