Problems with chan-capi and Eicon Diva 4BRI
Hi! This weekend we had a problem with our Asterisk Box which ran flawlessly for nearly 4 weeks. The Asterisk server sits between the PSTN and a Siemens PBX and bridges 2 BRI lines. No calls, not incoming, not outgoing. The admin rebooted the Dell Box and then everything worked fine again. Now, I'm analyzing log files to find the cause. During the Asterisk outage the logfiles only show

Call transfer to cell phone [UPDATE]
Hi! I tried this in features.conf testfeature => *9,callee,Dial,CAPI/ISDN4/my_phone_number/b,60,T and it works... but... I would be able to transfer a call to any phone number, so I tried to use this line: testfeature => _*9.,callee,Dial,CAPI/ISDN4/${EXTEN:2}/b,60,T but... Asterisk crash! (it doesn't want even to reload configuration) Any idea about how to do so? Thanks a lot!

sending an SMS via Asterisk?
I've been googling and reading a lot, but I'm not getting any closer to getting an SMS sent via Asterisk. Prior to switching to asterisk, I used sms_client on an ISDN line to dial one of two Swisscom SMS centers: 0900900941 or 0794998990. My dialplan looks like this: exten => 0900900941,1,Goto(smsmotx,${CALLERIDNUM},1) exten => 0794998990,1,Goto(smsmotx,${CALLERIDNUM},1) ;

Problems sending more than 2 SMS with asterisk / smsq
When i send more than one messages shortly after the other, my log (/var/spool/asterisk/sms ) looks like this and only two of four messages arrive. What am i doing wrong ? I am using an AVM B1 PCI with chan-capi and 1.4.4. and also, when sending with smsq -x only two of the messages are handled. (i thought, asterisk itself handles the queues ? ) Here the log: 2007-07-09T15:04:14 YOM04 0 -

Hi, I have been trying to get my asterisk box to send SMS's to my Panasonic dect phone via a Linksys pap2. I believe I have the message centers setup correctly between * and the phone. The pap2 is configured to only use G711a. The Asterisk version is 1.0.7. In my /etc/asterisk/extensions.conf I have [smsphone] exten = 199,1,Goto(smsmorx,${CALLERIDNUM},1) [smsmorx] exten =

Asterisk compatibility with SMS services
Can anyone comment on using SMS in conjunction with VoIP service using one of these three VoIP providers: voip.ms, vitelity.com, flowroute.com? Are some SMS services more compatible with Asterisk (i.e. SMS over SIP works perfectly or not)? Is it best to use a different data channel for SMS messages (i.e. SMS via HTTP, SMS via XMPP) instead of Asterisk's built in SMS application

[PATCH]UHC should not generate interrupt when USB device returns NAK
This patch adds support for USB mouse/tablet status check and restricts Universal Host Controller interrupt generating when receiving NAK in interrupt transfer. According to usb spec, USB mouse/tablet device returns NAK to host controller if its status does not alter in interrupt transfer. And UHC should leave a TD active when receiving NAK and execute this incompleted TD in a subseqent frame.

Hi all, say I have a class Container has_many :items end and class Item belongs_to :container end Now if I fetch a container from the db cont = Container.find :first and then call cont.items 1000 times, does this result in 1000 db queries(for the items of the container)? get no connection, very often, but not allways, why?
Hi, I have an ISDN phone connected to a hfc-s card. I use it to phone via an iax provider to foreign countries. Inside my country it works reliable, but to other country it happens very often that the other side hears ringing and before it can take the phone the line is dropped. What makes me wonder is that I hear no ringing at all. With asterisk -vvvvc I get this: Asterisk Ready. *CLI> ==
