SIP extensions can only register at one server, the one they "belong" to. In case one extension wants to call other that is registered in another server, DUNDi takes care of that by calling the other server using IAX2 and G.729

If it were three I think I could control looping by limiting TTL, but with two I'm not sure how to prevent a loop causing bad things to happen. I've tried ttl=1 but things still blow up. Hi All, I've been labing up some HA Asterisk senario's using LVS, Ultamonkey, Asterisk DUNDi, OpenSER. UltraMonkey setup went pretty easy, workes fine with Debian Sarge, used the example on the ultramonkey website. LVS_NAT is a different story, a bit more complex and requires another server/director sitting in front of 2 asterisk servers. Also have in production OpenSER proxying calls
