Asterisk and iBasis
Hi,
We are currently trying to setup Asterisk with iBasis. One question/problem we have is that Ibasis has told us to send the INVITEs to one IP address and all media to a different IP address. How can we do that in Asterisk?
Thanks

Problem with Mongrel, Rails and web services using xmlrpc
Hi all,
Ruby 1.8.4
Windows XP Pro / Solaris 10
Mongrel 0.3.12
Rails 1.1.2
I''ve got a fairly simple and straightforward layered dispatching web
service setup for my Rails app. This simple xmlrpc script works fine
with WEBrick, but chokes on Mongrel. Is there anything special I need
to do to make web services work with Mongrel and Rails? Some Google
searching indicates that there had

Passing XMLRPC errors on to clients
Hi,
I''m experimenting with using Mongrel to serve XMLRPC, and I''m having
trouble passing the XMLRPC errors on to the client.
In my webrick implementation, I just raise the XMLRPC error and the
client receives it and can handle it like a normal exception. With
Mongrel, when I raise the error, Mongrel catches it and just closes
the client connection, which means the

[PATCH] [Xen-API] Patch for fixing the rtc/timeoffset entry
This patch rewrites the rtc/timeoffset entry so the VM''s record can be
retrieved with the Java xmlrpc library. If the entry is ''None'' it upsets
the xmlrpc parser. This fixes it, though maybe there''s a better place in
xend to place similar code.

Rebuild Fedora Core 6 cmake rpm on CentOS 5
Hi,
I'm trying to build cmake on CentOS 5 from a Fedora Core 6 source rpm (I
need it for another package I'm trying to build from a source rpm,
xmlrpc-c). When I start the build, I get this error:
error: Failed build dependencies:
xmlrpc-c-devel is needed by cmake-2.4.6-3.el5.i386
Well, that's nuts. I can't build xmlrpm-c without cmake, but cmake
won't build without

Bug#477237: xen-utils-common: typo in /etc/xen/xend-config.sxp for xmlrpc configuration
Package: xen-utils-common
Version: 3.2.0-1~bpo4+1
Severity: minor
I use the version from backports, but it's still present in sid.
In /etc/xen/xend-config-sxp :
#(xen-tcp-xmlrpc-server-address 'localhost')
#(xen-tcp-xmlrpc-server-port 8006)
should be
#(xend-tcp-xmlrpc-server-address 'localhost')
#(xend-tcp-xmlrpc-server-port 8006)
Small typo in a commented line, but

FW: rsync hanging after working reliably for years on one of my shares
Thanks for the suggestions - I have done my best to follow them.
I inserted the debug shim script and changed the rsync executable in rsync so that it called that instead, and got the same results. Here is the tail from that:

Geocoding and XMLRPC
Hello people,
I''m implementing a geocoding feature in my web app, a classic feature,
for showing registered user by location.
For this purpose, I''ve inspired myself from the following tutorial :

However, I''m getting this error from Rails :

Need Help Updating Records
This is a stupid question I know, but it is driving me crazy - I am
missing something simple and basic here. I am trying to update missing
zip codes on a data table. I am doing something incorrectly as the data
in the Source table is not being updated, only the value in the array is
changed. How do I get this to update the actual DB record instead?

Getting a list of available methods from ActionWebService
Hi all,
I dug around a bit, may have missed it.
Is there a method automatically generated by ActionWebService (or
XMLRPC::Server) that a client can use to list all available service
methods (perhaps along with docs)? Or do I have to roll that myself?
Thanks,
Dan

XMLRPC::DateTime from AWS
When I do an XMLRPC webservice call to retrieve a single Product, my
DateTime fields in the products table do not get converted to a valid
DateTime value, but remain as XMLRPC::DateTime structures.
So, say my webservice call is:
@product = @aws.get_product(1)
Then my @product object looks like this:
name: My product
last_updated: #<XMLRPC::DateTime:0x37c5338>
description: This is my
