Does the System() dialplan application have a limit on how long it can run? Either a time limit, or server load limit? I'm trying to pipe the output of Sphinx2 into Text2Wave, but Asterisk just runs by it to the next extension priority, with no errors. Hi I have installed Festival on the same box as asterisk and followed the instructions to integrate it with asterisk. Festival seems to work fine on its own performing text to speech from the command line or via a file. Asterisk answers the call but there is no speech. Following the installation directions on the wiki, I got festival built and installed. However, when I hit it from my dialplan, I get: Feature Token_Method not defined I found only one reference to this error message in the archives and there was no solution... Thanks! -Michael

Hello, Using asterisk-1.2.1 I am trying to convert my music-on-hold files from .wav to alaw: % sox moh.wav -r 8000 -c 1 moh.al resample -ql The file sounds fine when listened with: % sox mox.al -t ossdsp /dev/dsp But when listened through asterisk with an alaw SIP phone the sound is clicky and too fast.
