Time Limit on Call or Conference Room?
Hi All, I recently had an incident where a conf bridge was left open due to improper disconnection. I've read about the meetme options and marked callers closing the bridge when they exit. This is OK for meetme, but I'm really interested in a call timer that can be set on inbound and outbound calls within the dial plan, per call. I have another customer who wants to offer free calls,

using broadvoice and vonage hardware with Asterisk
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Greetings, I've just about got Asterisk up and running and am wondering the following. Currently, I subscribe to both Vonage and Broadvoice and as such, I've got a Sipura and Cisco ATA186. Although I'm sure this is expressly prohibited somewhere in my service agreements, can I reprogram these devices to access my own asterisk server rather than

[LONG] Word 95 behaves strange in file dialog
Hello! I'm having problems with Word 95 (yes, we still use Office 95) running on W2K SP4. Samba is 3.0.4 running on Debian Testing (package from unstable). However, the problem appeared with 3.0.2a also and 3.0.5 didn't fix this. It was definitely not there with Samba 2.x versions. W2K and Office95 are both German versions. Behaviour: ---------- In Word, open the "File Open"

Dovecot 2.2.27 proxy - enforcing per client IP connection limits
Hi, Trying to keep abusive/buggy IMAP clients at bay on a number of Dovecot proxy servers, I've reconfigured them to use "mail_max_userip_connections = 50" in the "protocol imap" section, followed by restarting Dovecot. Yet, I'm still seeing 160+ established connections from a single IP address for the same email account. Am I missing anything? # 2.2.27

undefined method stupidity
I put some code in a before_save callback in the model file to alter some fields that have dependencies in the DB. I''d like to call a method in the controller file but I continually get undefined method errors. I have specified Controller::methodname as well to no avail. What am I missing? -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/.

Dovecot 2.2.27 proxy - enforcing per client IP connection limits
Hi, mail_max_userip_connections is only enforced at the backend level. The setting has no effect on proxy. If you want to force the limit then you can only do it in the backend. Ceph samba size reporting troubles
Dear developement team, I want to share a massive storage casted with Ceph by samba with windows workstations. All works well. My problem so is that in windows the ceph storage size statistics are wrong. Instead of seeing a 44TB hard drive I see a 176GB hard drive. Under linux that issue doesn't show. The size are properly reported. I investigated around and it seems that the problem

inherits() and virtual classes
Hi How do I test for an object having a particular virtual class? In the following, "onion" is a virtual class, and "octonion" is a non-virtual class contained in onion. The last call to inherits() gives FALSE [R-2.5.0], when inherits.Rd led me to expect TRUE. setClass("onion", representation = "VIRTUAL" )

Hi In NEWS, it says R CMD check now tests that the package can be loaded, and that the package and namespace (if there is one) can each be loaded in startup code (before the standard packages are loaded). For package "onion", I think I have followed all of sections 1.6.1 - 1.6.6 of R-exts, and it passes R CMD check for R-2.3.1. However, using R version 2.4.0 Under

ifelse question
Dear R-helpers, How come that in the following code the rnorm() function is evaluated only once for each branch of the 'ifelse' ? x <- rnorm(10) y1 <- ifelse(x > 0, rnorm(1) , rnorm(1)) What is the right way to make it called/evaluated for each row, apart from a 'for' loop ? Thanks, Jacques.

Conference room owner Changing his room password? Ast@Home
Hi all, I didn't find yet any info about this. Is there any way for a Conference Room Owner to change his own password? A kind of Menu like calling his conference room: example:8200 And an IVR option to change password. That seems to me interesting, because i may not want the same users entering two diferent days on my conference room... Also I don't think it is a good choice to

add points to 3D plot using p3d {onion}
Hi, Can anyone guide me as to how I can add points to a p3d() plot from the onion package?? I want to plot points with different colors on the same 3D plot.? Perhaps I can do this without adding points but somehow directing the 'h' parameter to give different color to points based on a factor I assign to them? FYI, I can do this using using scatterplot3d() and points3d(), but these plots
