drivers on the server. If this is the case I suspect you may need "use client driver = yes" in your printer share. For details please see the manpage for smb.conf, but here are a few snips... use client driver (S) This parameter applies only to Windows NT/2000 clients. It has no affect on Windows 95/98/ME clients. When

Subject: Provisioning CO lines
I'm brand new to asterisk but not to T1s so here's my bit to contribute. Each local telco {be they ILEC or CLEC} is different depending on their CO switch and the software options they've purchased for it. In Alaska, the "break-even" for switching from POTS to T1 is about 13 trunks. Your telco will offer "regular T1" and/or ISDN-PRI. Up here the tariffed rate

Starting stunnel on boot with CentOS7
The stunnel package doesn't come with an init script and systemctl doesn't list it as a service I recognize, I guess I could put it in /etc/rd.d/rc.local or create a script in /etc/rc.d/init.d but thought I'd ask before creating my own solution. tsocks or equivalent for CentOS 7
Does such exist? I looked for dante and couldn't find that. I found and tried using a version from CentOS 6 but it didn't work. If anyone can point me to an rpm (or set of same) I would most certainly appreciate it. Thanks. Ok I have a queue that is working perfectly. The problem is when one of the agents is outside the building on an external phone line (say a cell phone). My telco hangs up on the call . I think the telco is hanging up on these calls because there is no CID attached. (I know my telco wont connect calls without ANI, so that is what it is my assumption) So first I need to prove my assumption

Samba 3.02 with dos filenames - still not working!

You override the default mangling method in samba3 from hash2 to hash. hash2 behaves more like Windows mangling. > mangling method = hash Either take this line out or change it to hash2. Providing Telewest in the UK with per extension outbound callerID
Hi, Is anybody in the UK using Telewest as a PRI Telco provider? Are you sending them caller ID? I've been told by Telewest that:- 1. Oftel doesn't allow them to accept caller ID (this is rubbish, and I replied pointing out where in the link to Oftel that they sent me it was stated. We need Type 2 caller ID) 2. Telewest can't do this. (this is rubbish, I'm certain

e100p and E-bit alarm indication
We connected an * box with an e100p to an E1/PRI from a telco here in Italy. After we had it working perfectly the telco told us that, despite the circuit appeared to work fine, and we could place calls on it, they had an "E-bit2 alarm indication constantly on that caused the circuit to be flagged as "faulty" every time. (The E-bit indication, is an alarm sent back from us to

* intergation with Panasonic D500 and strange echo
Hi, all ! I have a situation like this: [SIP Terminals] <-> [*] < -ISDN-PRI-> [Panasonic D500] <-> Telecom (conn to Telecom is with second PRI card in Panasonic and 16 POTS lines). Panasonic has 2 ISDN PRI cards (one to Telco, and second to Asterisk), 16 POTS lines to telco and 32 (advanced hybrid telephone type) extensions. Idea is to have possibility to have some users on

TE411P problem
List, I just tried to swap out our 410 for a 411 and we started have problems with on of our T1's. Setup: Span 1 - Dedicated PRI for long distance. Span 2 - 12 channels fxs_gs outgoing local. 12 Channels em_w incoming DID's. I didn't have any problems with the PRI. The trouble was with the T1. We were unable to place any local calls, and all incoming DID's where garbled.

Time-series moving average question
Hi Don, wow, you are so right. I picked that piece up from the bloggers tutorial and since I am R naive yet, I thought it was all one step moving_average = forecast(ma(tdat[1:31], order=2), h=5) Truly, I usually print and check at every step I can, as painful as it is sometimes. Great lesson for this novice usR. So the first and last values are NA in each case? Do you know why? Should I replace

Providing Telewest in the UK with per extens ion outbound callerID
Would be nice to do both (type 2 and 3 I believe in Oftel terms), but I'd accept just our DDI if that was all I could get.
