Bug solved / Re: irr package exits (PR#8839)
Dear Profs. Ripley & Gamer,
Thanks a lot for your prompt answer and your advice. Indeed, I managed
to track the bug by launching R from the c-shell instead of the Mac GUI.
In that case, after typing
> library(irr)
I obtained the following error message:

When I load the codec as an Audio Codec the call to AudioCodecInitialize appears to work but if I then get the IsInitialized property that says it is not initialized - so looks like that is my problem, and ties up with the crash in vorbis_synthesis_start(). Looks like vorbis_synthesis_init() has not been called, perhaps.

New Firefly version
As Promised, I've released a new version of Firefly (ver 1.8) with IAX &
SIP support back in.
Get it from Virbiage site or here's the direct link
http://www.virbiage.com/firefly/download/firefly-thirdparty.exe
If it crashes on startup, export your Firefly tree from the registry
(current user -> software -> firefly), then delete tree from your
registry. If that fixes it, send

intersection of 2 density curves
Hi,
I would like to find out the coordinates of the intersection points of 2 density curves. I did a search but i didn't get any significant results. I really hope some of you have some ideas. here it is an example:
set.seed(123)
x1 <- rnorm(100, 1, 1)
x2 <- rnorm(100, 0, 1)
d1 <- density(x1)
d2 <- density(x2)
plot(d1, col = 2)
lines(d2, col = 4)
Now i would like to know

Nagios NRPE IPv6
On my network management server I have
Name : nagios-plugins-nrpe
Arch : x86_64
Version : 2.13
Release : 1.el6
Size : 38 k
Repo : installed
From repo : epel
To my dismay I noticed that this doesn't seem to support IPv6:
[ts at bombur ~]$ host galadriel.example.com
galadriel.example.com has IPv6 address 2001:db8:f004:8::32
[ts at bombur ~]$

Release 4.4 and MPC51 ethernet controller
When using 4.4 to install on gigabyte GA-M51GM-S2 motherboard
basically an Nforce 410/430 chipset then network is not initially detect to
perform a network install. It let me attempt to manually select a driver
but I
do not see the driver in the list.
After installing the network works and the forcedeth driver is loaded.
Is there a way to get this driver detected or manually loaded?
THanks,
