Maybe, it's me while following README instructions, maybe README
instructions could be improved or maybe it's wrongly labeled messages ?
That's why I told myself : I'm waiting too much from doc ? is a pure-IP
platform too specific ? what is the official policy ?

RFC 3501 compliance issue: body-type-msg incorrect
Hi,
I am using Dovecot 1.0 beta 7, moving to beta8 probably tomorrow.
I am seeing a few RFC compliance issues with IMAP responses. I have an in-house IMAP client that caches IMAP data for a web mail system (it parses millions of IMAP interactions a day), and it reports whenever it gets a line that does not look RFC compliant. Unfortunately, users modify their mailboxes before I can get a copy

Installing on HP3000
I'm running MPE 5.5pp5 and am trying (again) to get Samba on there. Has
anyone else done this? I looked at the survey page on the samba website and
MPE/iX was not listed as a platform that anyone has registered a survey form
for, so I wonder if no one is successful getting it loaded. Any assistance
that can be provided will be gratefully and graciously accepted.
TIA

7.1 RC E1000 fix
Anyone running 7.1 and using E1000 hardware that has the time, I would
appreciate
any testing you can do. This has an important fix for SuperMicro servers but
any
regression test of the code would be helpful.
Backup the contents of /usr/src/sys/dev/e1000 and then overwrite with this
tarball.
Send feedback to me,
Jack

Supermicro & Boot Failures with DVD Centos 6.2
Eve.8ryone,
I have had a SuperMicro machine running Centos 5.8 that had been
progressively updated with yum-cron from a 5.0 CD install.
I upgraded the SuperMicro with more memory, switched out the CD with a
DVD and tried to boot to the Centos x64 6.2 dvd. My plan was to test
the memory before I added the hard drives, but I could not I could not
get the machine to boot from the disc. I also

Ethernet bridge overflow ?
Hello,
I''ve setuped an ethernet bridge on a debian sarge 3.1 with l7-filter +
ipp2 shapper rules
The server is a supermicro p4sci + celeron pentium 4 base 3ghz + 512Mb
+ 2 ethernet e1000
One interface is connected to a cisco catalyst switch
The other interface is connected directly to a CMTS (a sort of router
for cable modem) configured as bridge too.
More than 20Mbps of bandwith

Supermicro Adaptec AIC-9410 HostRAID controller

CentOS 5.3?
I'm working with a Supermicro X7DBR-3 motherboard. It has 2 "ICH Raid
Codebase" options in the Bios (Intel and Adaptec); neither of which seem
to change Linux's behavior. The interesting part though, choosing
either Adaptec or Intel, then performing

Supermicro P4SGA board?
Anyone have any experience/knowledge on the Supermicro P4SGA motherboard?
Supermicro's tech support suggested that specific MB as a low latency
board with a reasonable pci bus. Expect to use this with the Digium
TDM fxo card.

Would it be sufficiant if I were to copy the makefile and res_config_ldap.c
to the res/ directory of my running Asterisk and do make; make install? or
do I have to do LIBS=-lldap export LIBS ./configure before that? My asterisk
version is 1.2.6.
Thanks in advance,
Abhishek

gigE -> 100Mb problems
I've got a pair of identical CentOS 6.7 servers, with SuperMicro X8DTE-F
motherboards, these have 2 each Intel 82574L ethernet ports. The eth0
ports are plugged in with 10' runs of brand new cat 5e cable to a Cisco
Nexxus 9000 switch (provided by the data center).
These servers keep coming up at 100baseT rather than gigE. I've swapped
ports and cables with a different server,
