DC++ 0.668 - Annoying "tooltips"
Hello there ? There were folks in the recent time running DC++ on wine. I'm also one of them, and I have a small problem, which turns out to be very annoying. DC++ crashes with current CVS wine
Hi! I have a problem, that DC++ client now crashes in wine. The problem is that it crashes using its own exception handler, from the wine's point of view the app is running OK. The client simply pops up a dialog box saying that it just crashed and the debug info is placed in a file called exceptioninfo.txt. OK, the file is really there and it really shows something important: Code: c0000005

ogg2mp3 encoding
I know reencoding files decrease quality, but my portable mp3 player don't support ogg, so I am looking for a tool which can do it. I have found some which do it, which are really useful because they support drag'n'drop; but they don't make use of tags, and I don't want to re-tag al the files. Does anybody know a tool able of doing this? (I use WinXP) thanks. --- >8

IMAP forward boxes
Hi all, since a few weeks I'm experimenting with some "IMAP forward boxes", but I didn't find a satisfactory solution yet. Target function is a directory structure like following in a shared mailbox: /intern/users/fred /intern/users/ted /intern/users/alice The idea is, that a mail, moved to the directory "/intern/users/fred" via IMAP-client will be forwarded to

How to maximize a hidden application window?
Sorry for such a newbie question, I can't find anything in the FAQ but it drives me insane: I installed Wine and run StrongDC (a DC++ app). All works fine. Now I click on minimize and StrongDC disappears of the screen. How do I get it back? There is no entry in the task bar! I use xfce4 and tight VNC if you need to know. Thanks for any answer.

Program won't load fonts when run outside of installed dir
I'm trying get a couple pieces of software we use at work so we can replace a bunch of aging Windows machines with Linux boxes, but I'm having a little trouble. I'll start with the potentially easiest problem first. One of the programs I'm trying to use is Lightspeed Virtual Terminal. It runs fairly well with just a couple of glitches. Cannot get wine working under Fedora 6 test 1
I don't know if this is a Wine error or a Fedora/SELinux error, but - I pulled down the latest wine CVS last night (28 July 2006), and installed it to /usr/bin/wine/* (e.g. the main executable is /usr/bin/wine/wine) (so that when I want to wipe all the wine binaries for a new clean install I can do so easily) I relabled the security context of all the /usr/bin/wine/* and
