I would like to combine time-series data to test for correlations and interactions using random and fixed effects meta-analysis. So, I am looking for the right packages and documentation. I know about meta and rmeta packages of R. Are there any more? What are the diffrences in brief? Can you please suggest some references that could be used as a guide for meta-analysis in R (or S-plus)?

Other then working with pxelinux or not, does anyone know the diffrences in these? I'm planning to upgrade my asterisk 1.4.4 to 1.4.6. usually for asterisk upgrade i delete modules directory and include, then compile the new version. Since i have couple of G729 Licenses on this server installed, would i need to call Digium to reactivate these Licenses? Is there any better and faster way of upgrade asterisk? Possibly without losing G729 License? Thanks!

It seems, that oggenc-ing audiofile, and then flac-ing diffrences between original file and vorbis compressed file gives a little better compression than simply flac-ing. Asterisk Users, I recently ran into some problems with the quality of service with Teliax. I have some experience with analog and I have had two main issues with it. first is echo (I have not tried HPEC yet) and second unpredictable volume.
