SRTP vs ZRTP in Asterisk
Hi All,
I've been reading about Phil Zimmermann's ZRTP encryption scheme for
SIP clients. This seems attactive but I don't use soft phones. I'm
guessing that we'd need ZRTP support in Asterisk in
order to use it to secure calls from hard phones.
There seem to be issues with SRTP key exhange between various devices.
So much so that the IETF is working on a standardization

Asterisk encrypted authentication for clients
Hello,
I am searching for a solution to encrypt authentication from Asterisk
server to clients. Searching srtp seem to encrypt traffic, I just want
client authentication with encryption. Can someone point to the right
direction? has anybody used ZRTP? experience with ZRTP?
Thanks,

does res_pjsip support ZRTP?
Hello. Do I understand correctly that the current implementation
res_pjsip does not support ZRTP?
http://lists.digium.com/pipermail/asterisk-dev/2013-December/064401.html
Nothing has changed since 2013? P.S. I greatly regret that moved from
chan_sip to res_pjsip. Previously used very much lacking, and much of
the promise failed. Dmitriy Serov.

Asterisk ZRTP?
What's the status of ZRTP supported by Asterisk? There was some
discussion on the -dev list and -users list, but it was inconclusive. At
about the same timeframe, a bug (#0010024) was opened and updated for
several months, but has been "suspended" since late 2007.
Does any version (1.4.x, 1.6.x) of Asterisk support ZRTP with clients
(or with other servers)? Any successful testing

Differentiate alphanumeric vs numeric strings
I have a bunch of tables in a Microsoft Access database. An updated database
is sent to me every week containing a new table. I know that is inefficient
and weird but welcome to my life. I want to read the tables whose names are
something such as "040207" but not the ones that have alphanumeric names
such as "everyone". Using RODBC I am easily able to create a character

Prominently noted on the page is a link for a portable C compiler with
blocks support (clang) and the blocks runtime (part of compiler-rt)!
The libdispatch project consists of the user space implementation of

Reading from Google Docs
I saw a thread from September 24 in which Duncan Temple Lang told us:
- The package currently has no Rd files, but there is a brief "user's
guide". The package is available from
http://www.omegahat.org/RGoogleDocs
I could not find it by using Tinn-R or RGui's package install tool.
Then when I went to the website I saw that package is only available

CDR billsec greater than duration
Hi all,
I have a strange situation on a Asterisk 1.2.17 with FreePBX 2.2.1
Doing a select in the CDR table I noticed there are some calls with
billsec greater than duration, duration is always 0 in those calls.
How can this happens ? Am I missing something ?
Tnx in advance

Tinn-R explorer used to be my friend
I have upgraded everything lately and can no longer get the Tinn-R explorer
to work. I think I have had this problem before but cannot recall how I
solved it.I run Tinn-R 2.0.0.7 and Rgui version 2.7.2
When I click on the explorer button I get
