FW: fail to load modules
Hi,
Does Asterisk_addons_1.4.2 cant be use in the new Asterisk release or no one
really want to share their experiences? Since this project is belonging to
everyone within this list, why still no one really want to share the
experiences and to growth the Asterisk to the next level by keeping their
secret in behind.
As see, Asterisk 1.4 has so many feature improvements, and it's

Have problem with realtime sql
Hi,
I am having a strange problem with attempting to get voicemail-to-mysql to
work.
The biggest problem is that I am not able to store voicemail into database.
So, I followed the
instructor found on the web:
Updated the /usr/src/asterisk/apps/Makefile to have
USE_MYSQL_VM_INTERFACE=1 and recompiled asterisk, with
make clean; make; make install
(By the way, is it necessary to update the Makefile

Issue in insatlling addons-1.4.2
Hi,
I'm using Asterisk-1.4.7.1.
Everything was working fine.
Now I'm trying to Install Asterisk-addons-1.4.2.
The procedure I followed is as...
# cd asterisk-addons-1.4.2
#./configure
#make menuselect
#make
#make install
Everything is going fine except make install. I've tried many times, but the same error I'm gettiing---
The error is---
asterisk-addons-1.4.2]# make install

problems compiling asterisk-addons
Hello maybe someone can help me?
I did the CVS checkout and then compiled asterisk
Then I tried to compile the addons and got the following (don't
understand what's wrong at all and can't find anything about this error
on google/wiki)

compilation problem with asterisk-addons
Hi,
Trying to compile asterisk-addons 1.2.5 on Centos 4.4 produces this:
Note: MySQL libraries are installed and the structure is as follows:
/usr/src/astsources/asterisk-1.2.13
/usr/src/astsources/asterisk-addons-1.2.5
in /usr/src/astsources/asterisk-addons-1.2.5 I do:
make clean
make
and the output is:
./mkdep -fPIC -I../asterisk -D_GNU_SOURCE -I/usr/include/mysql `ls *.c`

problems setting up cdr_addon_mysql
Im trying to add mysql billing to my * box, running *1.0.2 on Debian
I follow the instructions at http://www.voip-info.org/wiki-Asterisk+cdr+mysql and download the asterisk-addons via cvs
When I get to the "make" part, the errors I get indicate a path somewhere is wrong. I can't for the life of me work out exactly where it is. Any help would be muchly appreciated!?!

Hi all,
Recently I am trying to install the Asterisk 1.4, I has some error while
loading the following modules, can some one help on those issues?

cvs asterisk compile failed (newer libpri)
I used:
cvs checkout zaptel libpri asterisk asterisk-addons asterisk-sounds
iaxyprov astcc
and in the same order I try to compile it.
Asterisk ends with the lines below. It complains of a newer libpri, but
I just did it a step before!
What do I miss?

hardware clock drift and CDR
Hi,
I've noticed that one of my new servers (new mobo) if drifting slowly backwards in time (in aprox. 24 hours, system time drifts back 5 minutes).
I have an ntpd process which is supposed to sync with a lan time server but it's not quite working. So I'm launching a manual ntpdate or ntp-client once an hour and that seems to work.
However, suppose I update system time at every hour

with h323, with version 1.8 did not have these warning
I have connected one avaya ip office 500 h323 with asterisk and the 1.8
version did not have these messages

Asterisk 1.0.7 Released
Hello everyone,
Version 1.0.7 of Asterisk, Zaptel, libpri, and Asterisk-addons has now
been released. Libpri and -addons have not changed, but have been
updated anyway to keep the version numbers consistent. All of the
tarballs are available on the ftp site.

asterisk 1.2.4 seg faulting today had been working fine since update
All,
I had updated to 1.2.4 right when it came out. I had been working just fine.
Today I seem to be having recuring seg faults. can explain it.
How can I find why?
Anyone else experiencing this?
I am running (2) TDM04B cards (has been working since 1.0.9)
I have a handfull of UIP200 phones and 1 cisco 7960.
I have a unused broadvoic connection that I commented out the
