Re: OpenGL issues on OSX (wine 1.3.21)
Hi James, thank you for your kind reply. The XQuartz folks recommend to logout and back in to have the DISPLAY variable set correctly, which I did. But I will also try a reboot to be sure. When I start something with wine, the XQuartz icon comes up automatically, so I am pretty sure that XQuartz is used (Apple's X11 is not active). I had another try with WINEDEBUG=+wgl, perhaps that brings

Running KoolMoves
Hello again, I'm able to run KoolMoves 6.0 (KM) under Wine but it's missing some functionality. KM is a Flash authoring tool and the missing functionality is mostly the ability to use the internal preview functions. Internal preview requires a browser and a flash plug-in, both of which I have. I also tried KM under CrossOver Office and it works 100%, so I'm hoping I can tweak

Colour palette goes nuts.
Not sure how to describe this or where to point the finger, so I thought I post here before submitting a bug. Wine: 0.9 Application: Titanic Explorer This application is a 'educational' triple CD about Titanic. It is created with macromedia 'director 6' and utilizes QuickTime. It installs fine. Runs fine (needed to disable ddraw on QuickTime) until I try a 'search'.

For Whom the Gaza Bell Tolls -- Part 1 and 2 -- Obama’s Mideast Jewish Wet Dream Team
For Whom the Gaza Bell Tolls -- Part 1 By Edmund Connelly for The Occidental Observer January 16, 2008 ?The Israelis can kill whomever they want whenever they want.? --Paul Craig Roberts I sometimes think that it?s pointless for Americans to talk much about recent events in Gaza because we know how it will play out ? America will do absolutely nothing to interfere with the ongoing massacre.

random effects in logistic regression (lmer)-- identification question
Hello R users! I've been experimenting with lmer to estimate a mixed model with a dichotomous dependent variable. The goal is to fit a hierarchical model in which we compare the effect of individual and city-level variables. I've run up against a conceptual problem that I expect one of you can clear up for me. The question is about random effects in the context of a model fit with a

How to color a region in a contour plot with the contour being the boundary?
Dear expeRts, I would like to color a certain region in a levelplot. The region for z <= 0.02 should have a dark gray color. Below is a minimal example. It almost does what I want, but The region between z=0.02 and z=1 is also colored in dark gray (instead of just the region for z <= 0.02). How can I solve this? Cheers, Marius ## z values for given x and y f <- function(x)

Samba printing problems with HP 5M Color
We are using Samba 2.0.6, VA redhat 6.0 on a VA server and are having problems. Using Window$ 95/98 printing to an HP 5M color printer. It will send the job to the printer but it seems to lock up the Windows client untill the job completes. I changed printer drivers to the PCL only and that seemed to help but it is still not right. Also When you try and get a printer status from Windows (by double

[LLVMdev] Spillers
Hi, David. Spill intervals must be precolored because they can't be spilled once more. They are the shortest intervals precisely over each def/use of the original interval. That is why they also have their weights set to #INF. Imagine that on a second iteration allocation algorithm figures out that some spilled interval can't be assigned a physical register. Allocator can't spill it

Possible bug with chromatic adaptation in grDevices::convertColor
It appears that the chromatic adaptation feature of `grDevices::convertColor`is broken, and likely has been for many years.? While a little surprising, it is an obscure enough feature that there is some possibility this is actually broken, as opposed to user error on my part.? If it turns out to the latter, I apologize in advance for spamming this list. Consider: ??? rgb.in <-
