Hi all.
How can I get Wine to recognize my USB joystick (works perfectly in
Linux)?
Wine version = wine-20040213-3mdk on a Mandrake 10 (Official) computer.

Gamepad missing buttons
I am trying to use a Guillemot gamepad with PES6 but the buttons are not recognized.
In kubuntu system settings I can see my pad, callibrate the joysticks and see the buttons are recognized, but not inside wine (only the joysticks are recognized).
I have tried different combinations for the DirectInput entry in the registry but either I have not stumbled upon the correct one or there is another

Only one joystick of two activated
Hi,
I am always using the newest Wine snapshot on OpenSUSE 10.3 x86_64.
My two USB-joysticks (js0, js1) - which are pedals and joystick - work without problems with all native Linux simulations like FlightGear, Torcs, etc.
It is a big pity that with Wine only the first joystick is activated, no matter which order I use, because with Wine all my old Windows simulations work without problems.

All the buttons on the joystick work in wine, but the Joystick's Axis', HAT switch and throttle do not work in wine. Specifically, I'm trying to play Xwing Alliance. I'm running Gentoo Linux, 2.6.25.4 kernel, wine 1.0 rc3
Any help getting my joystick's axis', hat switch,

To owners of xbox360 joysticks..
I'm looking for people who have an xbox360 joystick to help run some
tests so I can get information on implementing xinput for wine.
The more 360 joysticks plugged in the better.
Can you please go to the forum post I made and test:

Joypad emulated for more than one player
i suspect my USB Joypad controller is controlling more than one player or in some cases (acting or having more than one instance active), acting like at least another 2 controllers connected at the same time, games like Guilty Gear Isuka/XX #Reloaded can configure the number of players/controllers for being used, while i configure the game for use only port 1 for joypad, in the case of Guilty

CentOS 5 x86 & Joysticks
OS: CentOS 5.1 x86.
Hi, has anyone used any joystick under CentOS 5?
Yumex shows the following joystick-related packages installed:
"freeglut 2.4.0-7.1.el5"
"joystick 1.2.15-20.2.2"
"xorg-x11-drv-joystick 1.1.0-1.1"
I am under XFCE 4.4.2 but I also have GNOME and KDE installed.
Any ideas on how to configure a joystick under this configuration?
Thanks a lot.

dinput_test works but WINEDEBUG shows no joystick for game?
This is a continuation/evolution of what I've been trying to do, get some response from my controller(s) in Guitar Hero 3. I compiled wine (with some help :) and manually copied the dinput_test.exe.so file into my /usr/lib32/wine directory and made it's permissions match the other exe.so files (644). I then run the test to see if dinput is seeing/reacting to my controller, and it seems

Anyone having his USB Joystick working in wine?
Hi everyone,
I am running X-Plane under wine, but the joystick input is ignored.
Is there anything special I need to do in the wine setup to have the
joystick recognized.
My joystick is a USB Logitech Wingman Extreme 3D, and it
works normally under other Linux applications.

Joystick axis mapping issue (wine/linux)
Good day to you wine users
I've following problem, I've a cheap joystick which is recognized
as DragonRise Inc. - however many of them are I guess.
It's some china stuff which is each time labeled different but almost
always the same device (or so I've heard).
Everything works great except the joystick is recognized as being 7 axis
one - I really dont know why it does this.

Gamepad & Wine 1.0.1-2 on Debian Sid
Hi, I need you help.
I've been reading and searching on Google for a while know to try to get my gamepad (joystick, whatever) to work. Of course that the gamepad works fine under GNU/linux natives apps, like ZNES.
First of all, is not a gamepad or joystick actually, it's an adaptor that lets me connect 2 PSII joysticks in one USB port.
The module I'm using is joydev, and I'm

using a USB HID device with WINE?
I have a flight sim (PhoenixRC) that comes with a special controller. The controller shows up as a Human Interface Device (HID) and it seems to work just fine with Ubuntu--I can do "sudo cat /dev/usb/hiddev0" and see the output change as I move the controls around. However when I start up PhoenixRC it complains that the controller isn't connected. Is there a way to use the controller

VxDs in Wine
I would like to see Mame/32 working in Wine, however, it uses a couple
of VxDs to do some things (I think it is timing and joysticks).
Normally VxD's do not work in Wine, but Mame/32 is open source. With
access to the source code of the VxD's, would it be possible to modify
the VxD files to work with Wine? If so, what would need to be done to
make the VxD drivers work with Wine?

Force Feedback / Vibration
Hello,
I bought a steering wheel for racing games some time ago (a SpeedLink Darkfire). Works great in wine, but no vibration. Actually it works if I use fftest. Just not in wine.
I use Ubuntu 11.04, wine 1.3.28 (which is the most recent development version right now). The wheel is connected by USB. Wine also says something about it:
Code:
