Disabling Music On Hold
Hello,
I have been trying to completely disable music on hold on my asterisk
system. When a call is put on hold I do not want any music on hold, but I
would like the remote user to get informed of this event (depending on the
technology e.g. with a SIP reinvite and an SDP indicating the call is on
hold).
I have searched and tried out various approaches, but when putting the
call on hold

MusicOnHold probelms
This is my second attempt trying to get help and I am
hoping someone can. When the musiconhold extension is
matched, Asterisk attempts to execute musiconhold and
stops right away, this is what I gets:

-- Started music on hold, class 'default', on

MusicOnHold Native Mode, Please Clarify
Hi Guys,
I've attempted to get this moh-native thing to work with no success. I've
reviewed wiki, mantis and e-mail postings and I'm confused.
The latest I've read is native moh should be in asterisk-addons in
format_mp3, but what version will it work with? I've tried asterisk 1.0.1,
1.0.5, addons 1.0.1, 1.0.4 and also -r stable CVS. I followed the wiki
example with

chan_sccp crashes Asterisk on startup
Say there!
This is a new Asterisk install on Fedora; I downloaded and installed
Asterisk 1.2.1 and it runs fine. I downloaded the 20051217 version of
chan_sccp, compiled and it installs ok.
When I start Asterisk, it dies on startup at the activation/recognition of
the chan_sccp module...

I think there is currently a bug with MOH. For now, if you add a file to a moh folder, 'touch musiconhold.conf' and then reload moh.

MusicOnHold with no sound card?
I've been reading the wiki and mailing list archives that come up in
Google searches, and so far I haven't been able to find out how to do
this.
In my Asterisk console, when I dial an extension that is supposed to
play MusicOnHold, I get this message:

problem with musiconhold
Hi everybody,
I'm receiving the message "res_musiconhold.c:309 monmp3thread:
Request to schedule in the past?!?!" in asterisk console when I try to
put a call on hold.
I don't the reason and I'm sure the relative module is loaded.
In musiconhold.conf I put these lines, trying something I found in some
previous post:

quality of musiconhold...
Hi everyone!
I was wondering... Does the musiconhold quality improve if the mpg123
processes run with a negative priority? If so, is there a way to make
them start like that, so I don't have to renice them?

Does anybody know why I can NOT hear the MusicOnHold - using SJphone on
