FUNC_ODBC and ARRAY
Gentlemen,
I have googled, searched the mailing list archives, and even spoke on
the IRC channel, but have not found an answer to the following
problem. I am attempting to retrieve multiple columns in an ODBC query
using ARRAY per the solutions offered by many individuals. My dialplan
code is as follows:
exten => _.,n,Set(ARRAY(var1,var2,var3)=${ODBC_LOOKUP(${KEYVAL})})

Disabling Music On Hold
Hello,
I have been trying to completely disable music on hold on my asterisk
system. When a call is put on hold I do not want any music on hold, but I
would like the remote user to get informed of this event (depending on the
technology e.g. with a SIP reinvite and an SDP indicating the call is on
hold).
I have searched and tried out various approaches, but when putting the
call on hold

Installing IE6 in wine-0.9.8
Hello everybody,
I know there are many HOWTOs out there about installing IE6, but none
seem to mention the problem I have.
The installation of IE6 doesn't go beyond the window:

you are connected to the internet or try to run Setup later again"

Asterisk 11 - How to trim the number of modules to minimum ?
Hi,
I've got a brand new Asterisk 11 setup for which I would like to keep the
number of loaded modules to a minimum.
My goal is to this setup in a pure SIP environment, for switching incoming
calls to outgoing tSIP trunks.
When I leave autoload=yes in /etc/asterisk/modules.conf, I can handle an
incoming SIP call with a Playback app.
When I leave autoload=no in /etc/asterisk/modules.conf, it

Problems with eepro100 or BroadCom NetXtreme and syslinux 2.04
Hi all!
We use pxelinux for booting a diskless Linux from whitch we install all
our systems.
But we discovered some Problems:
- With v1.75 the Kernel is fetched from the TFTP-Server with no problem,
but it gets not started on Broadcom NetXtreme with newer PXE-Bioses
- With v2.04, pxelinux even seems not to be able to fetch the kernel
from the TFTP-Server. This affects also Intel's

LMTP: userdb lookup - user-filter with variables
I tried to use dovcots lmtp instead of dovecot-lda.
postfix has in master.cf ... dovecot-lda -f ... -d ${user} to separate
the user part from user at hostname.domain.
So lookup of "user" succeeds in userdb (LDAP) done by dovecot-lda.
I have always local addresses like to=<user at hostname.domain>

Problems with eepro100 or BroadCom NetXtreme and s yslinux 2.04
This sounds kind of like what happened with me for earlier attempts at using
syslinux. Skip using HPA's tools entirely and dd if=vmlinuz of=/dev/fd0
bs=1440k count=1 and make sure that the kernel runs from a floppy disk.
There'll be no file system or anything, but you'll make sure that your
kernel isn't faulty. If it doesn't execute, then you can avoid the

Corrupted mdbox on LMTP director delivery while user is logged in via IMAP
Hi,
we get errors about corrupted indexes and we are losing flags with mdbox on NFSv4:
Error: Recent flags state corrupted for mailbox
Error: Corrupted dbox file
Error: Corrupted transaction log file
It looks like a LMTP director problem. The user has IMAP IDLE connections
open and lmtp delivers to another host. This leads to nfs corruption problems.
The user is logged into mail04 and has some

Asterisk on OpenWrt (first time user)
Hello list,
I'm hoping that you could read through this mail and give me some tips
on how to improve my setup (functionality, security, really anything).
It's my first Asterisk installation and meant for simple home use.
I installed Asterisk 11 on an OpenWrt Barrier Breaker router. Currently
it's configured for Ekiga so I can test. In a few weeks I'll change to a

Multiple language output - Correct in RGui, wrong in .txt after sink()
I have the following problem with outputting multilingual data to a file.
I get (except for Korean) what I expect as result in the RGui, but when I
use sink() to output to a text file loose the characters in the foreign
languages.
I post a small example below. Since I am not sure how well my email system
as the list copes with all the different characters I have additionally

STRFTIME function declared in globals context
I'm trying to declare a few date-related global variables to ease my

MONTH = ${STRFTIME(${EPOCH},,%m)}
DAY = ${STRFTIME(${EPOCH},,%d)}
TIMESTAMP = ${STRFTIME(${EPOCH},,%Y%m%d-%H%M%S)}
If I evaluate these variables in the dialplan later, using

Can I tell if a call picked up on PSTN extension... for example?
Don't know enough to properly term the problem I'm seeing... sorry if subject appears vague. And I have other questions too, but "Newbie Help Wanted" isn't exactly more specific... ;-)
My setup, intended for testing and all, "*" version 1.6.0.6, dahdi with an X100p clone. Regular phone line provides PSTN access with one port (and my DSL).

Asterisk 1.4.4 reproducibly dumps core on Solaris 10
I have built Asterisk 1.4.4 on my Solaris 10 x86 box:
LDFLAGS='-R/usr/sfw/lib -R/opt/csw/lib -L/opt/csw/lib -L/usr/sfw/lib'
CPPFLAGS=-I/opt/csw/include ./configure -with-curl=/opt/csw
--without-oss --without-vpb --prefix=/opt/asterisk-1.4
The build and install go fine but the asterisk executable reproducibly
dumps core with a segmentation violation.
If I start it as: asterisk -gc and
