Menu issues with WeatherScope
Hi all,
In my continuing efforts to get Weatherscope working in wine, I've
noticed an issue with the menubar. (WeatherScope is available here:
http://sdg.ocs.ou.edu/builds/final/win/WeatherScope/WeatherScope-1.2.1.exe)
Specifically, the menubar is not normally visible while running under
Wine. I am still able to access the menus by clicking on them, but I
have to guess as to their position.

Program Crashes on Startup
Hi,
I'm trying to run a software package for viewing weather data under
wine, but the program crashes with an unhandled exception before I can
even see a window. The program is freely available (for educational and
non-commercial use) here:
http://sdg.ocs.ou.edu/builds/final/win/WeatherScope/WeatherScope-1.2.1.exe
This is running with Wine 20050310. I've included the relevent

Weatherscope mouse button issues
Hi,
Can anyone help me diagnose some issues with mouse button events in
Weatherscope? (http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3077) It's a
really annoying bug, as anytime you right click on an entry to open the
properties dialog, when the dialog opens, the program thinks you are
still holding down the mouse button. This triggers the
drag-and-dropping support to reorder items, instead

WeatherScope Color-Choosing Issues
Hi All,
In my continuing efforts to get WeatherScope running flawlessly under
Wine, I've noticed issues with WeatherScope's built in color chooser.
When you run the program, by default a map of Oklahoma appears. If you
right click on the entry in the legend (on the left side) and select
properties, you have the option of choosing the color. If you click on
the small color button, the

WeatherScope Focus/Mouse Issues
Hey all,
I've been working on getting WeatherScope running under wine. (Freely
available at:
http://sdg.ocs.ou.edu/builds/final/win/WeatherScope/WeatherScope-1.3.exe)
It's becoming quite usable, but there are a few remaining issues I'd
like to try and shake out.
1)Mouse Interaction
There is an issue with how the program handles the mouse under wine that
makes using a program a bit

Broken Date Selection Window
Hi,
I've been working on getting the application WeatherScope working under
Wine.
http://sdg.ocs.ou.edu/builds/final/win/WeatherScope/WeatherScope-1.2.1.exe
(Free for educational and non-commercial use)
With a little help from Rein Klazes, I've gotten the application
running. The program is usable, but it has some pretty major warts, at
least under Wine 20050310. The biggest one is

Wine 0.9.11 and Visual Foxpro 9
G'day
I am trying to install Visual FoxPro 9 with wine. I have been following
the instructions from "http://www.paulmcnett.com/vfp/wine/". I have had
to slightly modify the paths used for the symlinks because the format of
version 9 appears to differ from that of version 8. Or it's because they
didn't lend me the original disks.
Basically an extra directory level called

Wine-20010305 - MS Word97 - FlashWindow loop
Hi,
Microsoft word 97 seems to get stuck in a FlashWindow loop. Briefly,
the word splash screen and main window come up fine. When I click on
the File menu and then on the Open choice, wine seems to get stuck in
a loop in which the window title bar flashes active and inactive.
A preamble and a couple of loop iterations follow in the trace
below.
Looping behavior does not occur when I try the

MLIR changes not sent to any mailing lists?
For example, 7984b47401f7f36475619abf2ff02de3b5ff0481 does not seem to
have made it to any mailing lists.
This makes things harder for me as release manager, as those changes
are essentially landing under the radar.
Can we please make sure all commits that get pushed upstream are sent
to a -commits list?
Who is the right person to ask about this?
Thanks,
Hans

Some commits not getting sent to the mailing lists.
For example:
https://github.com/llvm/llvm-project/commit/549ff601f053303356abe7d8fca8fbcf5e3502e7
and
https://github.com/llvm/llvm-project/commit/4eacc32672e60113b835c4356d1c398dc1e30279
Don't seem to have made it to cfe-commits.
This makes it harder to search for stuff, reply to commits, and most
importantly it allows these patches to land "under the radar",
potentially without

Microsoft Word 2000 on Win2k
I have Windows 2000 already installed on another hard drive and am
trying to run Word 2000... my wine version is from the 10th of this
month. Has anyone had any luck with such a setup? Does anyone have any
tips? I keep getting the error (in a windows dialog) "This application
requires the Windows installer to run" - I really don't want to
reinstall Word 2000 and then apply all the

Perhaps you help with the following problem.
I installed Wine rpm 20001002 on Mandrake 7.2 and then edited wine.conf.
When I start Wine from /usr/bin directory get this message:

Then it says:
