How to obtain the series of residuals from fracdiff
Hi
I'm using fracdiff package to estimate the parameters of a
fractionally-differenced ARIMA (p,d,q) model, and it works fine, but I wanted
to have also the filtered series and the series of residuals.
I understand these are calculated in the subroutine fdfilt, in the program
fdcore.f, but I can't manage to get them out.
Any suggestion would be much appreciated
Thanks

View Specs Fail with "protected method render"
I''ve got rspec and zentest installed as well as the rspec rails plugin, and
my model/controller specs all pass and work well. I can''t seem to get views
to work though - 100% of the specs fail with:
NoMethodError in ''/users/show.rhtml should render attributes in <p>''

RSpec 0.9.1 released
The RSpec team is pleased to announce RSpec 0.9.1 (we skipped 0.9.0).
RSpec is a framework that provides programmers with a Domain Specific
Language to describe the behaviour of Ruby code with readable,
executable examples that guide you in the
design process and serve well as both documentation as tests.
This release includes a complete overhaul of the API, which can be
summarised as follows:

Problem with ruby-debug and rspec
So i''ve been getting this same thing with both rspec 1.1.1 and now with 1.1.2.
ruby-debug works with i''m in the application code, but not when i''m in
the ''spec'', or spec helper methods i''m loading. Basically any command
which should normally work like p, or pp, gets passed through to a
method_missing.
I''m kind of stumped on this

Residuals for fracdiff
Hi,
I am using the fracdiff package to estimate the parameters of an
ARFIMA(1,d,1) model. I would also like to get the residuals of the series. I
have seen another post about this (below). However, being still quite at the
beginner level in terms of R, I did not quite understand how this worked. I
also read through the fracdiff package manual with no success to find any
help with the

Error from StructTS
Hi,
I used function StructTS some time ago to fit a structural model to a time
series.
Now with R 1.6.2-1 I repeated the analysis with the same series and I get the
following error:
Error in KalmanLike2(y, Z, -1) : invalid argument type
I tried with other series and I get the same error; I checked the examples in
the documentation and they work fine. I suspect I am missing something
