debian unstable : mutt polling imap mailboxes
Package: dovecot Version: 0.99.10.4-2 I am accessing my IMAP folder on my ~/Maildir using mutt via Dovecot and I have this problem whereby mutt incorrectly reports I have new mail in a "mailboxes" polled mailbox. This happens all the time when I press the key bound to change mailbox. I use courier IMAP at school, and I have not experienced this problem. A bug with dovecot or mutt?

Dead Incoming call - Sangoma A200
Hello List, I am having a strange issue with a trixbox system we installed for a client, and I would appreciate any help on this one. The issue is that occasionally when they go to answer an inbound call from the Sangoma A200 - there is no one there, and they are presented with dial tone. The calling party is hung up. A bit of background: The client actually has two systems install (one at

Blind Transfer Won't Hangup
I'm using FreePBX 2.5.2.2 with Asterisk 1.6.1.4. If I make a call and then decide to blind transfer them using ## my side of the call is not hung up. Instead it sends me to voicemail. If somebody calls me and then I blind transfer them with ## I am hung up on as expected. I called from 8678 to 28688. I then transferred the call to 8532. Asterisk acts like it wants to hang up, but then

printer access slow
Hi, I installed a samba printer, that maps to a script to generate pdf files. It works, but there's a notable delay when selecting or printing to the printer: when I click 'print' in an application and I select the samba printer, there's a delay of about 5 to 10 seconds before the printer is accepted, and I can effectively print. Any clues on what could be the cause (and the

Hi, I specified within the extnum.conf package to read the configuration for the extensions.conf file from the database. When i start asterisk i see that it binds the extensions.conf file to the db!. Now i made an entry within the ast_config table of the database - when i make an reload - asterisk still loads the configuration from the extensions.conf file ! Do i have to delete the

Display number dialled
Hi Is it possible with Asterisk to tell the called party which number was dialled by the caller? Or in place of the number dialled have a description such as 'Sales' or 'Accounts'? Ideally, I would like to show a description corresponding to the number dialled followed by CIDName. How might this be set up? Currently my extensions.conf is: exten => xx,1,LookupCIDName

DIALSTATUS for Multiple Dialled Numbers
Folks, When I have a dial string like this: Dial(SIP/3254101&SIP/3254102,20,tr) and I want to check the ${DIALSTATUS} variable after the dial, how do I know which number I am getting the variable for? And, what about this? Dial(SIP/3254101&SIP/3254102@proxy1,20,tr) What happens in that case? How can I get the ${DIALSTATUS} variable for EACH NUMBER dialled? Thanks, Doug.

Asterisk 13 chan_sip trunk appending @string to dialled number
David, I should also note; 246 is my extension, it has IP 172.22.3.238. 172.22.4.8 is the PBX, and 172.22.4.12 is the 2800 gateway. The trunk is called ?testing? at the moment. The route that selects this trunk uses a 9 prefix. This system is in semi-production, so there might be fluff in the log from other active calls. Asterisk 13 chan_sip trunk appending @string to dialled number
Hello, I'm having what seems like a weird issue connecting Asterisk 13 (FreePBX 12) to a Cisco 2811 router via a chan_sip trunk. Whenever I try dialling out via this trunk, something appends '@CUBE' onto the end of the dialled number, as per the following examples; Asterisk log; app_dial.c: Called SIP/test/0429123456 at CUBE chan_sip.c: Got SIP response 500 "Internal Server

Asterisk 13 chan_sip trunk appending @string to dialled number
Yes indeed. Do you have the dialplan, eg from /etc/asterisk/extensions.conf? Something is getting this OUT_3_SUFFIX variable and including it in a Dial to 172.22.4.12. Asterisk 13 chan_sip trunk appending @string to dialled number
Hello, So, I found this line under macro-dialout-trunk, in extensions_additional.conf (FreePBX, so it controls the conf files mostly); exten => s,n,Dial(${OUT_${DIAL_TRUNK}}/${OUTNUM}${OUT_${DIAL_TRUNK}_SUFFIX},${TRUNK_RING_TIMER},${DIAL_TRUNK_OPTIONS}) If I grep for OUT_3_SUFFIX in all files in /etc/asterisk I get nothing.. Here's a paste of a few things out of the two files that I

Samba spoolfile name
L.S. Situation: I am running Samba 2.2.7a as my DPC in a small business network with win98/ME clients. A big Fiery printer/scanner/copier device is also part of this network. It has its own printserver. Since Win98/ME can not print to an LPD queue directly, I have setup Samba to spool the printjobs send by the clients to the Fiery server. All is working well, but there is a small problem. This

migrating/converting from system users -> virtual users
Hello all, We currently have a traditional mail server where all users have system accounts (ie entries in the NIS passwd map) and mbox-format mail folders in their (system) home directories. I'm trying to setup a dovecot server in which we want all users to have "virtual" accounts (in dovecot) and no entry in the passwd file at all (ie no access to the mail server). This is
