Hi,
Can someone explain what the parameters pridialplan and prilocaldialplan
are? What do they do and do I need them?
I've connected an asterisk box via E1 (sangoma) to an alcatel 4200 pbx.
The pbx technican complains about the format of the nr asterisk sends.
Asterisk sends all numbers in on piece the pbx expects the numbers
devided into

I' try to implement an automatic callback mechanism, just for local SIP calls.. Callback
on busy and on no answer. If the other party doen't answer, it should be possible to press
5 to place an callback.
Here is my dial:

Polycom dialplan restriction
I am having a problem with some Polycom 601 phones. If I dial without
picking up the handset or selecting the speaker I can dial numbers that are
any lenght. But if I pick up the handset or are using the speaker I can only
dial numbers that are 8 digits. When I dial the 8th digit it dials
immediately. Obviously this creates problems when I am dialing long distance
numbers or anything that

Beginning with Asterisk
Hi All.
I am beginning a project of Call center and predictive diales, my call
center have 50 operators, I have 50 analog phone line with the company PTT
in my country.
I have the following questions:
1- Can I to work this project with Asterisk?
2- What caracteristic of hardware need for my servers?
3- For 50 analog phone line what tipe of card digium I need?
