Tinc and OpenWRT
Hey Saverio, I'd really like the idea of a tinc-1.1-pre package for OpenWRT. I'm currently using tinc-1.1 with an Ed25519-only network, really like the new features and CLI and want to add some OpenWRT routers into the mix. How do you plan to handle things with OpenSSL? tinc-1.1 from git should be able to compile without it (but will then only support the built-in algorithms). Depending

I haven't tried this myself, but it looks like recent versions of OpenWRT use UCI, which seems to generate configuration files (including those for NUT) from a unified configuration syntax.

tinc running openwrt (mikrotik metarouter mips)
You can find tinc package in openwrt repo and install it with opkg or luci. I suggest you first run couple of tinc nodes on x86, just to understand how it works. -- brgds Max On Jan 19, 2016 7:17 PM, Yazeed Fataar <yazeedfataar at gmail.com> wrote: Any help please? Compatibility of GPL 2.0 licensed SSL library
Hi all, I'm wondering if the GPL-2.0 licensed mbedTLS (that's the version in OpenWrt) is 'compatible' with NUT binaries (not including the Python or Perl binaries which aren't used in OpenWrt) which is GPL 2.1+ AIUI. Because mbedTLS is the default library for OpenWrt and NSS is not yet in OpenWrt, and because OpenSSL is considered incompatible (I seem to recall reading that

Tinc and OpenWRT
Greetings. I'm new to tinc, but have so far managed to get a couple laptops and a hosted server all connected. They're working as expected, running Tinc 1.1-pre11, which I compiled from source. Next I want to move on to adding my home router into the mix. My routers run OpenWRT. I don't have experience compiling anything from source for OpenWRT, but OpenWRT has Tinc 1.0.25

nut in openwrt
Hello, I have a UPS device connected (USB) to a Debian server, but I want to change it and connect to a OpenWRT router. I installed this packages: nut-server (2.6.5-2) nut-driver-blazer_usb (2.6.5-2) The problem is that I don't know where to configure it. Anyone with a UPS connect to a OpenWRT device?
