zttranscode crashes server
I was just looking to see if anyone else has seen this problem as well.
When asterisk starts up it loads the zttranscode module. The problem
exist when I use the init scripts to stop asterisk and then use the
zaptel init script to unload modules. Since the zaptel init script
didn't load the zttranscode module it will error out when trying to
unload the modules.

One potential problem with this is that it is easy for the branches to

Rather than an svn->git mirror, can we consider a git->svn mirror? That
is, when transferring to the new server, can we take the opportunity to
migrate the official

Running configure from subdirectory of source tree
Hello everyone,
I would like to seek your advice regarding a build (or rather "configure")
problem I am running into. For reference, tests are all relative to a build
from a 1.8.26.0 tarball, on Debian Wheezy.
I would like to understand if it is possible, and if any of you have tried,
to build Asterisk from a subdirectory of the source tree, i.e., from a
clean source tree

AMI Originate Commands executed in sequential Order problem
Hi,
I noticed that asterisk manager interface will only accept the originate
commands in sequential order. For example, if I want to ring two extensions
through the AMI, and while first extension is ringing, AMI won't execute and
ring second extension until first extension has answered the call.
Anybody has any ideas as I had the same results even tested with telnet
commands to AMI interface.

So does 1.4.1 show up in the /branches/1.4, or only in the tags/1.4.1
Do I get 1.4.1 by just doing an svn up in a checkout of the 1.4 branch, or
do I have to switch to a new tag or branch for what I have checked out?
I did an svn up and there are new files, but nothing in the change
files about it being 1.4.1. Many packages with various minor
versions tend to have the master branch (like 1.4) mean "The latest
stable version of 1.4, be it 1.4.0 or

! camping 1.4.1
Okay:
gem install camping --source code.whytheluckystiff.net
Fixes a problem with query parsing. Specifically, the
`user[login]=_why&user[email]=why at ruby-lang.org'' syntax was broken since
ActiveSupport''s hash indifferent overrides update() and merge().

Shorewall 1.4.1 is currently in CVS
It''s in the /Shorewall and /Shorewall-docs projects. I plan to run it over
the weekend and release it Sunday night.
-Tom
PS: Francesca - no need to upgrade the Samples this time since none of the
changes affect the sample configurations (other than the config file
comments).

Problem with Shorewall 1.4.1
Using Shorewall version 1.4.1, it is impossible to make the firewall route
traffic from a group of hosts back to itself. This makes it very awkward
to set up access by external IP to a local server (FAQ#2) and to set up a
transparent proxy in your local network (you basically have to place the
server(s) in its/their own zone).
This problem is corrected in Shorewall version 1.4.2 through the

If I do not create any rule violating any of that new features, it will
