SellVOIP
I was quite surprised to find a message in my in box from SellVOIP a
day or two ago. It indicated I was running out of credit which was a
surprise as I thought they'd gone under a large number of months
back. So I ran upstairs, added their entry back to sip.conf,
uncommented a couple of lines in extensions.conf and I'm again using
sellvoip to make outgoing calls.

Re: Anyone having trouble with claling US Domesticon Sellvoip?
Try DIDx.net, I would not say they're best but at least they willing to help you when there is problem and they have a large pool of numbers.

Anyone having trouble with claling US Domestic on Sellvoip?
Nothing has changed in my Asterisk configuration and now outbound US is
getting nothing, but 403's. Anyone else having the same problem? Inbound
calls to my DID's are working fine.
Thanks, SG

Opinions on the best wholesale origination/term providers
I've been losing patience with my current provider, a small company
called Sellvoip. Their termination is good, and they are
asterisk based, but they are understaffed and have no concept
of customer service. So I'm shopping.
I am interested in the opinions of others on the providers they
work with.
Here are my criteria, roughly in order

Is there an easy way to automate the process of joining a Samba
domain?

Why does a W2K (pro) client do more than it is asked to do?
Desperate to find out why connecting to a samba
share(on an AIX server) from W2K is so slow, I tried
connecting to the same share from a Linux box, using
smbclient:
smbclient \\\\aixserver\\sharedir$ -U lynn
The results were amazing. The connection was so MUCH
FASTER then connecting from a W2K (pro) workstation:
\\aixserver\sharedir$ (in the Start|Run edit box)
When I examined the samba log

Bilateral matrix
Dear William and Ben,
Thank you for your replies and elegant solutions. I am having trouble with
the fact that two of the previous locations do not appear in current
locations (that is no one moved to OKC and Dallas from other cities), so
these two cities are not being included in the output.
I have provided a better sample of the data and the ideal output (wide form
- a 10x10 bilateral matrix)

SMB gurus: please help - I am desperate.
I apologize up front for re-posting this, but I need
to find a solution to this problem. I have been having
hard time to believe that there isn't one person among
the SMB gurus that doesn't know how a W2K client
connects to an SMB server. So, if you happen to know
even the slightest hint to this baffling problem, I
would be forever grateful.

Wine help for newbie
Hi all -
I have a few questions - OK, a million questions, but just
a couple today. I hope this is the right list ...
I migrated (finally!) from Win7 to OpenSuse 12.1 64bit,
KDE4 a couple of weeks ago on a Dell Inspiron laptop dual
core Intel cpu/2Gz, 4meg RAM. So in most things I am
groping around in the dark.
This distro included Wine 1.3.30.
I successfully loaded my pet email client,

Anybody having problems using sellvoip?
International calls (Germany) haven't completed since around 3/1. Domestic
works. Is it just me? I'm getting 503 responses.

saving output
I have a question about how to save the output of a logistic regression
model in some format (delimited, preferably) so that I can manipulate it
to make nice tables in excel. I have tried print, save, write, none seem
to do what I want them to. Does anyone have any ideas?

Encoding into MONO (delphi)
Hi!
I have a problem. I hope, you can help me.
I use a Delphi conversion (from Aleksandr Shamray),
but it doesn't work when I'd like to convert a *.RAW into a
mono *.ogg file.
vorbis_encode_init_vbr(vi, 1, 44100, 0.5); //because of the mono
the program stops at line:

Howto sort dataframe columns by colMeans
I read from external data source containing several columns. Each column
represents value of a metric. The columns are time series data.
I want to sort the resulting dataframe such that the column with the largest
mean is the leftmost column, descending in colMean values to the right.
I see many solutions for sorting rows based on some column characteristic,
but haven't found any

5.3 Update Success
Greetings CentOS Team-
Since the list tends to be filled with "things don't work" and "why did you do it this way" and "complaint X", I thought I'd make a small deviation...
I have a production system running on a Dell Poweredge 2650 server. I simply ran 'yum update' and rebooted with no problems. Everything continues to work as rock solid as before.
