When I try and start asterisk I get the following, however I have commented out the data the connections in res_mysql.conf and res_pgsql.conf. I am not sure therefore why I am getting these errors. I need to setup a small mail server on a local network. It only needs SMTP ability as it's just so Asterisk can send out emails. The machine has sendmail installed. I've checked ps aux and nothing seems to have the sound card. Any ideas? Does starting asterisk automatically take the sound card?
