AsteriskNOW 1.5 upgrade from 1.4 to 1.6
This link (http://blogs.digium.com/2008/10/13/asterisknow-15-beta-available-more-coming-soon/ ) seems to indicate that in order to upgrade AsteriskNOW v1.5 from Asterisk 1.4 to 1.6, it's as easy as installing an upgrade package. Does anyone know where to find that upgrade package? If it doesn't yet exist, what is the process for upgrading?

Recommended changes to the binary packaging system
I think the way Digium has structured the binary packages could use a major change. I rely on the binary packages rather than compiling by source because my systems are managed by an automated CM tool (I use Ansible but those using Chef or Puppet will face the same problems) and for security reasons. I use the CentOS packages. Some issues with the current package structure are: - It installs

Is AsteriskNow 2 solid?
Hi, I currently have some systems on AsteriskNOW 1.7 & have been happy with its clean simplicity & reliability. Are many people here using AsteriskNOW 2.0.x? How do you feel about it? Did Digium stick with their previous philosophy of keeping everything very vanilla & making it clean & simple for someone who understands how to manage CentOS, FreePBX, tftp, ntpd, etc. but

Vitelity and AsteriskNOW
I wanted to try AsteriskNOW plus a few others to see which I can wrap my head around the quickest. The issue so far is I can't figure out how to use my Vitelity account with it. I went so far as to put their Asterisk configuration in the sip.conf file but still no joy. Any pointer as to where to search? I found a few threads in the AsteriskNOW forums and one thread from last year on
