Asterisk 1.2.17 and BRIstuff
Hi All,
I'm using Asterisk 1.2.17 and I would like to install BRIstuff. Problem is
that current version of BRIstuff is for Asterisk 1.2.14.
BRIstuff 0.3.0-PRE-1y (* 1.2.14)
If I'm misunderstanding how to apply patches for 1.2.17?
Thank you in advance,
Dominik

Bristuff PickUp and call transfers - can it be done?
Hi All
I'm using the PickUp application from Bristuff to allow me to pick up
channel groups across Zap and Sip. The only snag is that having picked up
a call with it, you can't then transfer it on.
Taking a dive into app_dial, it looks like when you specify the T option,
it does:
ast_set_flag(&(config.features_caller), AST_FEATURE_REDIRECT);
Since there's nothing like that

I'm using Asterisk 1.4.16.2 with Zaptel 1.4.7 on Debian with kernel

I have two analog lines Zap/1 and Zap/2 as group 1 in zapata.conf. I'm
using below context for dialing out.

wavelet transform
Hello,
I am thinking about plugging in Discrete Wavelet Transform as
described in Vorbis I spec:
1.1.2. Classification
Vorbis I is a forward-adaptive monolithic transform CODEC based on the
Modified Discrete Cosine Transform. The codec is structured to allow
addition of a hybrid wavelet filterbank in Vorbis II to offer better
transient response and reproduction using a transform better suited to

Asterisk PPPD with analog lines
Hi All,
Is it possible to use asterisk as a internet link backup callback solution? I
mean when my main DSL link is down at my server room I would like to dial to
asterisk , then it will call back me and provide a connection to a LAN
network.

Bristuff bug or feature ? (Was: Are .call files working with extensions.ael ? bristuff problem)
Hi,
Is the following behaviour a bug or a feature ?
Using bristuff-0.4.0-RC3d.tar.gz, the call file thereafter produces :

Transfer outgoing call - macro
Dear All,
I have a problem with call transfer. When I dial a number and then I want to transfer current call to an extension, I'm getting disconnected. Transfering incoming call works fine. I'm using macro for dialing.

I get these events sent like this:

florz patch for bristuff breaks compile on x86_64?
After upgrading a CentOS 3.x box to CentOS 4.1 (both x86_64 with an
Athlon64) I also wanted to get the latest bristuff. Unfortunately
bristuff without florz causes the box to kernel panic within hours
(console will complain about bad frame received something).
It seems however that the florz patch will not work for x86_64 arch.
Bristuff -0.2.0-RC8j compiles fine without the florz patch, but

bristuff-0.4.0-RC4-xr7
I am following the guide here:
http://updates.xorcom.com/astribank/bristuff/1.4/bristuff-current/INSTALL.html
for installing bristuff on a CentOS5.11 box (stock 2.6.18-398.el5.i686).
Whilst building zaptel I get the error as follows:

install BRIstuff on *@home?
I'm still trying to install a HFC-s BRI card onto *@home .6
I'm new to this so I probably am overlooking the obvious.
Can I just install BRIstuff onto a fresh *@home install?
The BRIstuff installer downloads another * from Digium. Will this interfere with the @home install and must I comment out the Asterisk install in the BRIstuff install.sh file?
Any pointers are much appreciated.

Beronet BN4S0 (quad BRI) card, echo cancel, zaptel timing, bristuff ...
Hi,
I guess I'd need to run Beronet quad and octo bri cards under bristuff to
get zaptel features (echo canceling, timing source).... Am I right or could
I achieve this also with chan_misdn - their native driver ?
Running bristuff on Beronet cards is unsupported. Has anyone succesfully run
Beronet quad BRI cards under bristuff recently ? Do they work ?

Rob.

1.2 to 1.6 and bristuff
Hi,
I am just moving from Asterisk 1.2+bristuff up to 1.6.2, a huge leap
:) I was wondering if someone could point me at 3 things that I appear
to have "lost"?
1) ZapEC(off) - Is there an equivalent dialplan command to request no
EC on a channel before dialling in DAHDI?
2) rxfax(file.tiff) - I have found ReceiveFax(), but I am aware that
much has happened in the faxing stakes
