Noob help with IAX
Ok so I've just built and installed a CVS (HEAD) version of asterisk
on RHFC2 running a 2.6.13.3 kernel.org kernel. I installed the samples
via "make samples". Everything seems to work except one thing. I'm
trying to do the connect to the Digium IAX demo server portion of the
demo (dial 500) and I just get the following messages. I am behind a
NAT server and did NOT change

the right direction.
My current setup:
I have Asterisk Setup on a Dell Server. It has 2 T100P cards. One will be

1.4 branch on OSX?
I tried to update and build 1.4 (SVN-branch-1.4-r45775) tonight.
I took the additional step of nuking my modules directory first...
When I used the command asterisk -v to start asterisk, it seemed to go
along and get to the point where asterisk is running(ie Asterisk Ready).
At that point it was eating all available CPU.
I went ahead and tried to register a softphone to it via IAX2, which

Realtime IAX
I am using Asterisk CVS from last week and have been using Realtime SIP
for a couple weeks now without any problems. Yesterday I decided to turn on
Realtime IAX but I am having problems dialing to my long distance providers
like Voicepulse, Sixtel or Nufone. I get the following:

ATA186 v3.1 SIP - Attended transfer: NO JOY
Hi,
I'm still hassling with the consultative/attended transfer stuff. Someone
please help me identify this
A lot has already been said about the ATA186. Some report it works fine,
others say it doesn't. Lets get clarity on this.
My scenario is reasonably simple (I think)
Phone A: SIP/video1
Phone B: SIP/werkkamer
Phone C: IAX2/provider
Phone A calls phone B, they chat:

Call forwarding...
Sorry for posting this again, but it seems to have become attached to
another thread. Guess I replied to another message instead of starting a
new one...
Hi,
I'm trying to setup a call forwarding rule so that when an extention
doesn't answer the call is forwarded to my mobile.
I'm using voiptalk.org for incoming and outgoing calls and SIP phones

Having a Blonde moment.
I know I must be being daft, but is there a way to set which context the
queuing system uses when it dials the operators/agents?
By default it appears to use the default context.
I've looked through voip-info.org and can't find anything, someone
please put me out of my misery.

I am using Asterisk 1.4.26.2 and I am getting the following problem
making connections to this server. My other servers are Version 1.2.x
which have no problems and this 1.4.26.2 server can call the other 1.2.x
servers.
The error is:

Hi R Graphics Gurus
I am unable to figure out this issues with unevaluated expressions. I'm trying to create a graphic where I calculate the residual from a regression and want to mark each residual with its observation number. So something like
plot(0,0, type = "n", xlim = c(0,10))
for(i in 1:10){
text(i, 0, substitute(paste(epsilon[i])))
}

Hi -
I'm running CVS-HEAD from 2005-08-11 20:17:17 UTC, and I'm trying to
set up some redundancy on IAX connections between locations. I have
two IAX peers set up that work correctly by themselves: "ast551-out"
and "ast551-out-backup":

returning strings to R from C functions
I'm using .C() and .External() and have no problems sending integers,
reals or strings from R to C. Nor do I have problems sending integers
or reals back from C to R. But I'm pulling my hair out trying to set
a string value in a C function and then sending it back from C to to
R. I've searched the usual sources and tried various casts, macros
and allocation schemes, but I'm

par("usr") trouble in multiplot axis scaling
Hello,
I'm blotting a series of growth curves into a multiplot environment

since I want the four plots to be easily visually comparable, I do the

<some fitting>

lines(spline(x, <fitted_equation>))
#everything all right till here
