VIA EPIA DeadLock Issues
Greetings, I've been having a large number of deadlock issues lately on chan_sip occurring only on VIA EPIA ML6000 boards. I'm curious if anyone else is having similar issues. My Config (have multiple systems all running the same hardware with the same problem) VIA EPIA ML6000 1GB RAM 80GB HDD Various Digium Cards (T1 and TDM cards) Trixbox 1.2.2 (though running stock asterisk code)

mini atx and asterisk (EPIA and the like)
Hi, haven't found anything in google's, i wonder if there is a comparative page of what to expect from running * on motherboards like the EPIA and similar ones. Since i have not used *ever* such kind of mini atx form factor boards, I have no clue about their performance. channel.c:780 channel_find_locked: Avoided deadlock
Hi All. I have many days reading and research about asterisk and vicidial. I thing this issue is about asterisk and doesnt about vicidial. Isn't it? I have a problem with theses application (I already ask for help in vicidial forums), but I can not fix it. I have debian 5 with asterisk 1.2.24 and vicidial 2.0.4. This server has a IAX tunnel with another asterisk server B which connect to

Asterisk overheating on VIA Epia MSeriesmoth erboard
Is that a bios setting (I don't recall seeing it) or an OS setting? I run a lot of Via C3 machines (they are so nifty) but don't remember seeing this. -----Original Message----- From: Technical Support [mailto:support@ocg.ca] Sent: Tuesday, September 06, 2005 10:43 AM To: 'Asterisk Users Mailing List - Non-Commercial Discussion'; shmaltz@gmail.com Subject: RE: [Asterisk-Users]

SV: Epia C3 Linux
Hello AstLinux seems quite suited for my use. Can you configure more incoming port via a web interface? I'd like to install it to a "normal" hdd. Can that cause any problems? Asterisk/Debian/VIA EPIA M Howto
I have written a step-by-step setup for installing Asterisk on Debian using the VIA EPIA M platform. It is oriented to the Linux novice (myself being one). Feel free to use it :) http://www.steady-com.com/asterisk/debian-install.html

EPIA-M board for Centos
Is there any problems using this board? I have a dead board in a Book-PC (board size 10.5"x6") so am looking for a new board. Actually I want 2 LAN ports. 'Router' boards with enough umph to run Centos are expensive. I can pick up a VIA epia-m with 512Mb memory for $70 including shipping, so this is rather attractive option. I do have a 100Mb low-height PCI board that I

tftp problems with VIA EPIA-M board
I'm trying to boot linux on a VIA EPIA-M board (a Nehemiah-based M10000), and I'm having some trouble with it. I'm watching the network transactions with ethereal, and I'm seeing a failure at what appears to be the tftp stage. The M10000 picks up its IP address from the dhcp server (ISC DHCP3), and reports it correctly on the screen. Then the tftp session starts, and I get the

Will a VIA Epia ME6000 with a 600MHz Eden fanless CPU be suffiecient for 8 extension system?
Hello I am using a VIA Epia ME6000 with a 600MHz Eden Fanless CPU. Is this likely to be enough power for a 8 extension system with 6 external pstn lines? How important is cpu? Is there some measure, eg xMHz CPU per extension or something benchmark? I have installed 512MB memory - again any benchmark for asterisk memory usage? Angus

ISOLINUX versions 3.36 and 3.53 can't boot VIA EPIA CL Motherboard, version 3.31 can
Hi, I'm using Kubuntu and have a problem with the ISOLINUX CDROM booter with versions used since (K)Ubuntu 7.04. The ISOLINUX booter versions 3.36 and 3.53 do not boot my motherboard. The version shipped with Ubuntu 7.04 is I believe ISOLINUX 3.31 but it displays for such a short time I could be wrong. I'm writing to this mail list in case the original Ubuntu bug report never made it

New Tutorial: Asterisk on EPIA VIA C3
Hello list, after spending the best part of an afternoon trying to build Asterisk on an old EPIA VIA C3, I thought that writing a tutorial would make life easier for future compilers: http://astrecipes.net/index.php?n=356 I had never compiled Asterisk for a different architecture, and I'm pretty disappointed at how complex it is - building Zaptel, Libpri and Asterisk requires

"Success" report with TDM400 and Via EPIA-MII motherboard
Hello! In spite of a number of complaints, I have tried to use a TDM400 on a Via EPIA-MII motherboard with a 1.2GHz C3 CPU. cpuinfo and interrupts are included at the end of this e-mail. I have had no problems with it so far that I can attribute to the computer. I have, though, had continual problems with a certain telephone... Anyway, this module currently has 3 x FXS modules and 1 x

recommends on CentOS + Via Epia CN10000EG
I'm considering building a network gateway using a Via EpiaCN10000EG motherboard like seen here: http://www.logicsupply.com/product_info.php/cPath/79/products_id/444 I've heard that this is a pretty recent mobo and drivers for it are in Ubuntu but that a 2.6.9.x CentOS kernel might have troubles with it. Anyone have any opinions on this mobo? Thanks jed

Asterisk overheating on VIA Epia M Series motherboard
Hello I am running Asterisk on SUSE Linux Professional 9.3 on a VIA Epia M Series motherboard - CPU runs at 1GHz. There is no fan - just a large heatsink. Currently system is running off standard IDE hard drive - because I couldn't get astlinux to run with my Digium TDM04B card (only PCI card in system). Strangely I also have the same system also running SUSE Linux running as a file
