ParkAndAnnounce + Paging
Hi everybody.
It is possible to announce the parking position through a paging to a group
of extensions?
I would like that when someone parks a call, some phones will announce with
the speaker the position.
Something like:
exten =>
s,1,ParkAndAnnounce(call-parked-at:PARKED|30|PAGE(LOCAL/PAGEyyyy@custom-auto
page&LOCAL/PAGEzzzz@custom-autopage|)
Is there a way, maybe with a

Paging and Auto Answer on Grandstream GXP2000
I am looking to setup paging using the auto answer feature on the
Grandstream GXP2000. I am thinking I will follow the method as described
here:
http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/index.php?page=Asterisk+cmd+page
I will setup the 4th account on the phone to auto answer.
Does anyone else have a method that works better? I also looked at the
allpage AGI written on Voip-Info. But it seems

Page() and Asterisk 1.2.3 Problems?
Has anyone else had problems with the Page() application not working
under Asterisk 1.2.3?
We use Cisco 7960 phones and set one of the lines to auto answer. When
someone dials the paging extension it calls the page app and invites all
the lines on the phones that are set to auto answer into a meetme
conference where all the members are muted except the original caller.

Cisco 79x1 Auto-Answer
I'm using a mix of Cisco 7960, Linksys SPA-942, Cisco 7961, Cisco 7970
phones in a paging group. I have all the phones set up with an extra
line that auto answers the dial from my paging extension when the
primary line is not in use. All of these are operating correctly however
the 7961/7970s all ring once and then auto answer so the person paging
all the phones has the first part of his

ParkAndAnnounce Doesn't Release when Call is Picked-up
Hi All,
When a call comes into my FXO port (Zap/1), it goes into the ParkAndAnnounce app and gets parked. This is OK. Then the app announces the file I selected through the (Console/dsp). This is OK. If I go to another extension FXS (Zap/2) and dial the parked call, then I get connected OK (Zap/2 & Zap/1). The problem is the Announcement through the (Console/dsp) doesn't stop, it

ParkAndAnnounce Problem
Hi Guys,
I've been trying to get this application to work but I'm getting
inconsistent results. My music on hold works fine by itself, I can park
calls all day, works every time. I can dial the Console/dsp all day by
itself and it works every time, sounds great, even play announcement gsm
recording through the console, it just works. When I invoke the
parkandannounce app, the

ParkAndAnnounce - Any way to not disconnect?
I have ParkAndAnnounce set up to call my cell instead of Console/DSP and
this works fine. If a caller tries to get me on my cell, they are
parked... I am called and told where they are holding, but then
ParkAndAnnounce hangs up. So I have to call my system back and dial the
parked extension to be bridged with the caller. Is there anyway to make
the announce jumpto something else so I can just

ParkAndAnnounce Question
I have an office up and running with 40 SIP handsets. Currently when an
incoming call is parked, they then dial ext 9876 which I have setup to
do a page (it does this through an agi script that uses the Polycom
autoanswer to page via the phones). What I would like to be able to do
is transfer the call to a new extension #699 for example, and have that
park the call and then connect the

ParkandAnnounce?
In theory ParkAndAnnounce has a lot of usefulness, however, that we've had
very little success with application... Our application is similiar to
the local Walgreens pharmacy.. Dr. Calls in, selects the "Im a doctor with
a prescription option"... call is parked, and announcement overhead is
given.. "Doctor holding on ${EXTEN}"

ParkAndAnnounce - No Disconnect
Regarding my earlier email (for some reason, I don't get my own emails
from the list), I looked at the code and although I'm no programmer, I
see that this is meant to hangup after the announcement. If I comment
that line out, the call remains on the line, but I'm in limbo. I tried
to add a chan->priority = 101 in place of the hangup and get this on the

RDNIS question
Perhaps I've got the whole concept wrong, but here goes:
Using 1.4, when someone from the outside dials my direct line (123456),
I want it to call my extension at work (SIP/456), my extension in my
home office (vpn connection to corporate lan, SIP/678) and my mobile
(654321). So my dialplan is thus:
exten => 123456,1,Dial(SIP/456&SIP/678&Zap/G3c/07803654321,30)

Escape characer for Digit Timeout
Hi *,
I hope this is not a FAQ, but I couldn't find any solution until now.
I need to set an escape character to stop digits timeout to let phone calls
start immediately.
Something like '*'.
I saw that in many SIP phones it is possible to set timeout and escape
character and the most have a "send" button.
But in an analog phone connected to a Digium TDM?

using ${EXTEN} with waitexten
All:
Some of the people who dial into to our system will press the pound key
when entering an extension for the directory key. When waitexten gets
that, I get an error messages as, for example 123# doesn't match any
extension.
I was going to use ${EXTEN} to just use the first three numbers, but I'm
not sure how to use this with WaitExten.
so I have
