Problem with FXS ports of TDM400P
I just received two TDM400P cards, but I'm having problems with them.
The full info is at:
http://pastebin.com/824079
Extra, I'm using :
libpri-1.2.3
zaptel-1.2.10
On a x86 stable Gentoo box.
Kernel: 2.6.17
gcc-4.1.1, glibc-2.4-r4
Is that an hardware problem? Should I try the other card?

Yeastar Cards
I am in the process of buying a TDM800 card from Yeastar (
http://www.yeastar.com/products.asp?TypeName=TDM800%20PCI%20Card&cTypeName=1 )
Any one has tested this cards? How reliable are them? I am specially interested
in the FXO/FXS module.

Asterisk as ISDN PRI Proxy
I have a costumer with a Siemens PBX installed, and I would like to setup a
Asterisk system that would act as a kind of Proxy between the Siemens PBX and
the operator network.
The current setup is:
Siemens PBX 2*PRI <-> Operator
what I want is:
Siemens PBX 2*PRI <-> Asterisk BOX <-> Operator
For the Siemens PBX the Asterisk Box would be a standard Telephony Operator, and

Should digium build a 2FXO / 2FXS 4-port daughter board?
Please chime in if you've ever wished for digium to make a 4-port daughter
board with a combination of 2FXO AND 2FXS ports on the same card.
When using the 800 series cards, one must either choose 4-port permutations
of FXS/FXO, OR one must give up 2 valuable ports.
In other words, when you add ONE 100-series daughter board, you give up TWO
of your physical ports.
Is there a technical

Sip to ATA?
Currently running two POTS lines into an asterisk system. Analog and SIP on premises. Being in the sticks, the POTS service is abysmal for quality, especially in the rain.
Recently, cable has become available with VOIP phone. The cost savings are attractive as it can replace several independent services for TV and internet (currently satellite).
But, I cannot get much out of them, regarding

5 way calling?
I'm running RedHat 9 with a TDM400 (2FXO, 2FXS).
Before I implemented Asterisk, some users were using Bell services to
set-up 5 way calling: The user would set up a three way call on one
line, switch to the second line, set up another 3 way call and then
link the two lines together with the Flash key, thus establishing a 5
way call (the user, 2 others on line 1, another 2 on line 2). How

Question about callerid?
Hello again Asterisk people.
I am running Asterisk 1.42 on an old PowerPC ibook. I have had this
deployed for several years now, with pretty good results.
Recently I added a callerid service to my landline (qwest).
I am using the audiocodes MP114 2fxo/2fxs gateway, which is an
outstanding piece of hardware once it's configured (lol).
Anyhow, I can see that the gateway is passing

Call log reveals redundant calls!
Hi, all--
What do you make of this? Here's my call log--looks like there are a lot of
calls going in and out of the server that are not real incoming or outgoing
calls. Does anybody have any clue what is happening?

Micronet problem
Hello,
I connected a Micronet SP5014 2FXS + 2FXO gateway to the asterisk, the
problem is i can make call but can't receive calls. If i make a "sip
show peers" it shows the micronet is not connected to the asterisk.
Does anybody knows how to configure the micronet and asterisk to solve
this problem ?
Thank you

TDM400P FXO lines problem
We are experiencing problems with FXO modules on TDM400P. From time to time
they stop responding to incoming rings although they work fine if we use
them to dial out. It's been verified at least in two different installations
(using different mainboards) in two different locations.
The only solution to the problem is to stop asterisk, then unload and reload
kernel drivers. The problem appears

I have set up asterisk@home <mailto:asterisk@home> with Digium TDM400P

I am unable to seize my trunks from either soft or analog phones.
Inbound calls result in answer/disconnection.

5-7 second delay in connecting outgoing FXO calls
I'm running AsteriskNow 1.7.1 with a OpenVox 2FXO/2FXS card,
SPA942 SIP phone and outgoing SIP and IAX routes.
When I dial local PSTN numbers from the SPA942 using the FXO channels I
observe a 5-7 second delay between when the PSTN number answers the call
and when Asterisk connects the call at my end. There's enough delay
time that I hear an additional ring after the PSTN number has

FXS, Power and Sangoma
Hi
I've a Sangoma A200D with 2FXO and 2FXS. When using it with only
the FXO module, it's all good. But when I put in the FXS module and
connect the power, logs tells me not enough power.

More detailed Test::Unit error report
Hi,
I''m starting to use Test::Unit to create unit tests for my Rails
Applications/Plugins. I don''t have much experience in Ruby Unit Testing. The
problem is that the output report is very simple and it is very difficult to
discover where is the error. Test::Unit does not show the line number of the
error and the Stack Trace printed using the --trace option does not help
either.

corrupted btrfs after suspend2ram uncorrectable with scrub
Hello,
I''m using kernel 3.1.0 and I have both / and /home as btrfs. I used
suspend to ram quite often and never had a problem, but yesterday I''ve
suspended to get into a plane and when I resumed my /home was all
about input/output errors. Reboot did not help either. My root (/)
did not suffer any problems.
Today I''ve upgraded btrfs-progs to latest GIT and tried scrub

[OT] Yoda Communications' VG-400 (4 Port FXO and 2 Port FXO/2 Port FXS)
With the lack of info on Yoda Communications in Taiwan and their
hardware, I thought I'd post my experience.
I got my hands on a few H.323 VG-400's and VG-100TA's.

2 of the VG-400's were 2FXO/2FXS models.
A couple were deployed to SE Asia, where we planned to offer our services.
Originally, I ran a GnuGK server
