This happence when we boot the system and expect dtrace to collect all the fork , exec & exit it collects data but not all the pids are collected. Issue with Adaptec AIC79XX module and 2.6-xen kernel
I have an Adaptec 392320 Ultra320 SCSI adapter. I am running x86_64 SLES9 SP3. When I build x86_64 Xen with just the 2.6-xen kernel + initrd, I am getting the following error on the module load. But if I go back to building separate xenU and xen0 kernels without initrd the device works without any issues. Any idea what is going wrong here? Am I leaving something out of my initrd? Here is the

Invalid sequencer interrupt with AIC79xx driver and linux-xen kernel
I have a Dell ASC-39230(B) U320 SCSI controller. If I use the linux-2.6-xen kernel I am getting an "Invalid Sequencer interrupt" and the system hangs after this. But if I use the linux-2.6-xen0 kernel it works well. Does anyone know why this is happening and how I can make it go away? SuperServer 6024H-82R and Centos 3.3
I know this is a long shot, but does anyone have any familiarity with this server? It uses the Super X6DH8-G2 motherboard. Currently, we've added an Adaptec 2120S Ultra320 RAID PCI Controller Card to get RAID 5 capability. The installation bombs and from what I can tell it looks like we're getting SCSI resets or the controller is going offline maybe. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Problems using TE412P and TDM400B in a IBM x3650
Another day, another apparant unexplained hardware incompatibility. I have a TE412P and a TDM400B living quite happily in a whitebox using an Intel motherboard: http://www.intel.com/design/servers/boards/se7230nh1-e/index.htm I tried to move to an IBM x3650 system. It uses a slightly newer chipset, but apparantly it's in the same family. The SE-7230 board has been EOL'd and the

kmem_malloc crash with 4.8
Hi. I've recently borrowed a SuperMicro 6013P-8 from a vendor for the purposes of testing it to see if FreeBSD and these machines will make a good replacements for our current flock of 11 Netra T1s running solaris. Things are going very well with the tests, with the glaring exception of the following crash: While doing some significant disk operations: du, deleting a different part of the

STABLE regression with AIC-7902 controller.
I have a Supermicro SuperServer 6013P-8 system which features a X5DPR-8G2 motherboard with embedded Adaptec AIC-7902 dual-Ultra320 SCSI controller. Said system boots and runs fine with 4.8-RELEASE (with a slight cosmetic problem during boot that can be cured by building a kernel without eisa support). With STABLE (as of 19 June) the system locks up hard (no response to the keboard) during the
